Last year, I was taking a break at Pulaski, looked over to 13th street next to the plaza, and, out of nowhere, some rollerblader bombed the shit out of the hill in rush hour traffic. Through cars. Full speed. And went straight into Pennsylvania Ave moving traffic without looking/missing a beat. (Must of been doing it for blocks.) A friend looked at me and said "THAT WAS SICK" and he was right.

Almost everyone at our local calls this nearly 50-foot-long ledge "the curb" despite it being around 15 1/2-16 inches high. I've always found that funny because it goes up another level with a wedge ramp at one end and a 4 stair on the other with an actual 3-5 inch training style curb at the top layer that spans the entire massive length and is probably the least skated obstacle, barring a few other design abominations. I'm not sure how local vernacular works or is born but everyone here has definitely seen and experienced an actual street curb.

That's craz because I know a gal with a 16 inching curb. It doesn't have a 4 stair but the training wheels on top are about 2.5 inches. Needless three said, it's a bona-fide rubble dumpster and all the lads get their Jimmy's on it. Not sure what's up with your spot.

I just washed  mine last night in a fire pit. Put some coals onto them and this morning boom all the caked on gunk is gone

It would probably be quicker and easier for sheckler to actually backside flip el Toro  then it would be to figure out what prompts to use that would make a believable Ai version. Ai just isn’t that smart yet. It has no idea what el toro actually is and every depiction of a skateboard I’ve seen generated through mid  journey is laughable at best.

Midjourney is terrible at anything skateboard related. Every time I prompted it for a skate image, it made weird stretchy boards with skaters riding them like roller skates. And the trucks either look like goofy prototypes or like they partially melted in a fire.

Yeah I used to get miffed if people washed the cast iron with soap but I was an idiot. It's fine as long as you immediately dry the pan off afterwards, rub a very thin coat of oil over the whole thing, and then heat it so the new oil layer bonds to the surface.

Letting a cast iron pan sit around with water on it is how it gets get rusty and shitty. But even then, it's just a matter of restoring it and starting the re-seasoning process all over again.

"Contest Yuto" is getting repetetive and playing it safe by doing hardly any flip tricks in his runs. All the does are 270 or alleyoops/overturns to slides and grinds on mainly small rails.

Ginwoo might (still) have a bad trick selection but at least he's taking more risks by doing almost only flip tricks in his runs, even some flip in, flip out shit sometimes.
