Aside from Venture, Dan Drehobl never really had good sponsors until he got on Krooked.

Agreed that Hole's first album goes very, very hard. "Miss World" is my jam.

"In Utero" was such an interesting departure from "Nevermind" that I'd have loved to see what Kurt would have had up his sleeve next. "Bleach" is incredible and their Unplugged album is a masterpiece (the best maybe, either that or Alice In Chains). Kurt was a pure artist through and through, and I have faith that, were it not for the unbearable stomach pain, he would have continued to progress his art without compromising his integrity.

The few songs that are out there that likely would've made up part of their next album show that it likely would've been great. I would love to be able to hear studio versions of these two

The Alice In Chains unplugged album was great. No Excuses was made to be performed acoustically and it sounds great there.

I'm exaggerating a bit but every couple years the late shove and bigspin come back for a minute and they're a bit better. Kairi is so smooth I can see the technique getting figured out where the catch comes earlier

But with pop shuvs I definitely prefer them tweaked out and caught at their peak height.
In fact, I've always thought a really well executed pop shuv is one of the best looking tricks in skateboarding.
