Jeremy Allen White hair.  Flared pants.  Tate-style misogyny will become popular amongst the Southern California crowd.

Skateboarding is a joke
And if you think otherwise
you're fucked in the head

It's not that serious -
Go fast, catch a frontside
And remember why you love it

Depends how much the companies start suffering. Tiny wheels were just a trick to make more money, same price for half of the material and last a nowhere near as long.

2023 is the year of football (soccer) players showing skateboarding some love.

Over the years there's been a good amount of football (soccer) jerseys popping up in clips, a couple of tour videos show dudes kicking a football around next to the van, and for some reason Roberts did a Nine Club episode or two in a Barcelona top. This year you'll see the reverse all over the place, after Zidane kicked it all off in 2022 with that Lucas Puig/Adidas thing.

(credit to Owen in the football thread for that first one)

I can see this going all the way to Skate Mafia signs being thrown up in goal celebrations, players with skate-related tattoos (piss drunx/deathwish logos, skate and destroy/thrasher stuff, maybe a classic graphic), and teams getting in the van for away matches.

Dudes skating in straight up bike spandex ala hosoi circa ‘87. Nyjah is almost there, just needs to bail those tiny running shorts that cover the spandex. Seen a bunch of dudes already running the tiny shorts with no spandex, it’s a pretty fucked up look, seems like your cock would fall out the side super easily mid-handplant

In the next 5 years we will start to see skate part "covers." Full-on, 100% ABD parts but like, better.

This ABD/NBD stuff is getting out of hand. There are too many damn rippers throwin around too many damn hammers. In the next few years, it will not only not be taboo to repeat tricks, but it will be the trend. I can see it now; "Did you see xxxx xxxxx's cover of that ancient Daewon Song part?! SOTY!"

Is the ABD stuff really “getting out of hand”.  Haven’t noticed an issue with it at all.

i think we're going to go back to full lengths being the meta

ive given up on watching 5 minute edits on youtube

there's too much being put out, i cant handle this shit anymore. id rather get a meal together & watch a full length for an hour than spend my time watching a million forgettable parts on xyz skate mag's youtube

Boot cut jeans and dress shirts, schmizu/Fowler style. NY kids already been doing it for like a year with trung and the fti guys. Can’t wait for more true religion clips

You know that’s on you phone already right?

Nose and tail rails to go with deck rails, possible coper come back, and plastic pivot cup covers that bolt on to you pivot cups to aid nose/tail sides.
Plastic is the future again. Slide into it today.
