Touzery, Sean, and Sage don't have any boards out.

Dill has 2 boards, Gino has 3 boards.

Everyone else has 1 or 2 boards out.

Brand feels stagnant; can see why Tyshawn wanted something new.

What would you do to pump some life back into the company?

Or move AVE, Aiden and Touzery to Hockey and be thankful for a good run?

I've seen a lot of brand new FA decks snap within less than a week. Reminds me of when girl had to mass produce shitty bloards

Adding Bike lock berle, adding Beatrice, losing Tyshawn are 3 missteps in a row.

I’ve broken both a FA and Hockey deck this year over maybe a combined 10 sessions. I do think their boards are lesser quality and to me, it seems like it started during the pandemic.

Hockey team is solid and violet is more exciting than FA right now

Do you know who makes fa boards? Or do you think dill is pressing them himself?

These posts are from another universe where everyone is oblivious to the fact that two or three companies produce the vast majority of skateboards.

I don’t know or care if FA is producing new decks, but given their super-sale back back in November/December, it would seem like the smart move is to slow down the production of new decks for a while, until a year or two worth of unsold inventory is cleared.

Will confirm that I snapped a Hockey board on a kickflip on flat.

Love the company, but man does Dill put out some ugly clothes, and graphics.

Fair enough, every one of those guys went straight back to buy the same fa/hockey.

That being said I do think the change in woodshop amid huge supply chain issues is being felt. Just cause its bbs doesn't mean the company didn't ask them to cut corners to ship a given amount. There are more fa/hockey boards in my local than anything else.

One of my friends broke it 10 minutes after leaving the skateshop, went back 1st shop guy was like you know how it is, land bolts. His buddy took a look at it, started pulling the plys apart with his bare hands, the thing had no glue. *yes this guy also replaced it with the another FA, broke a week later

I do agree with the brand being stale. Louie pretty much carried them on his back last year. KB’s 1-2 clips on his story or maybe a hard post per year won’t help much. I have a feeling AVE has been stacking for a serious part which could help a lot. But I think it’s a stretch to say the boards are lesser quality. I skated 2 Hockeys recently which were great and I’m currently skating a FA from 2021 which is also fine.

It’s not a FA/Hockey thing either, and goofy when people suggest otherwise. My break was years ago when they were using PS Stix, who I think at times puts out shoddy wood.

Brand definitely feels stagnant. I'm sure boards are still selling and Dill's creativity for clothes and graphics is still going strong, but from the team/video perspective it seems like they have some deadweight, and they could benefit by imbuing some new blood. Joe Campos and Diego Todd were great additions to Hockey, and FA would benefit in adding that kind of talent to their roster. The way I see it, FA is supposed to be more of a legacy brand than Hockey, with pros that are maybe more fashionable or "cooler" in the traditional sense. Adding Beatrice to that list, while she has some buzz through peripheral skate media outlets, would be a mistake; as I don't think people are that hyped on her in terms of her actual skating. If I were Dill, I'd drop Berle too just because of the whole drama with his kits and style being derivative and goofy. It sours the character of the brand. He seems to elicit more eyerolls than stoke every time he shows up in something,

Six years ago I broke the tail on a Hockey in less than three min on a flat ground kickflip. Then I  flipped the board around to skate the nose, first kickflip that way and that snapped too. Totally anecdotal but easily the shittiest board I’ve ever skated, taking longer to grip than break. Haven’t and won’t ever support them again.

My feeling is that Hockey is dope but has a terrible name, FA is wack and has a terrible name, and Dill couldn’t be more upriver.

Kill FA. Move everyone good to Hockey. Dump Bea and Lij. Have AVE be the legacy spokesman instead of Dill. Make less product.

seems like FA has lost it's identity, meanwhile hockey has a solid roster. i think the best thing for the company would be to get involved in mergers & acquisitions and absorb limosine.
