Low angle shot here - not sure who the skater is.

I bet it's easy to fuck up and make this trick look like a BS Krooks if you get the angle wrong / have a two-way spot.

Skateboarding wasn’t as refined, so the identification of the tricks was not as well……

At the time tricks were names based on how you got, then what was grinding or sliding……not how you were grinding……

If you hit your tail getting in, fakie nose grind, 180 nose grind, shit….fakie 5-0, doesn’t matter how you grind…

I think the other difference too was the grinds were so damn short….you didn’t have guys crooking half a block, you got in, you got out.

That said, two captions like that don’t lie….that’s what the trick was called. Not to say we can call it something different now.
