Zeros and Mantecas both ran 0.5 small on me so I sized 0.5 up in both, which is standard for DC. Their modern cupsoles run 0.5 small usually.
Manteca is far thinner/closer to the ground in sole thickness. I'd recommend an insole swap in the Mantecas for better protection.
Zeros feel like a harder thicker sole under foot and ample padding throughout. Will feel like Lukodas in overall thickness but a diet version of DC's classic bulky cupsoles. More flexible. Insole is hard to remove and swapping an insole would be overkill for fit/protection. Closer to a 1010 in overall bulk but has a thicker forefoot than 1010.
Mantecas have a medium to light amount of padding. Slightly thinner dunk: sole, upper materials, padding, etc. Sole is noticeably flexible. More than a dunk, but similar to a 440 kinda. More padded than a 440.
Hope that helps!
I'm looking forward to skating my Mantecas. I didn't like the fit on Zeroes as much as I thought I would, but they definitely work for others!
