this show randomly popped into my head tonight and I realized I never actually watched it. it came out in 2001 when I was a kid so my only memories of it were the art direction. I'm 4 episodes deep now and I have to admit it's pretty funny, kinda stupid and goofy, but it's a solid animated show if you're looking to binge on some nostalgia. my Canadian pals may be more familiar with it. I read they've been playing reruns in Canada for 20 years.

the show reminds me a lot of Mission Hill. another great animated show that ended too soon.

Does the blonde haired character sound like john cardiel to anyone else or is it just me?

I watched it during my formative years, I liked it. Fun characters, engaging. “Air came out of me” made me die laughing as a kid, if anyone knows what I’m talking about. Looked for the song white picket fences by Sunday’s best forever back in the day, after they used it during the credits of one of the episodes.

Last I read, the creator of the show didn’t think he finished telling the character’s stories yet, and there was some sort of crowdfunding venture to produce new episodes. Don’t think it ever came to fruition, though. It’d kind of like freaks and geeks in that regard, where it was good and it warranted a second season, but we’ll never truly see it happen.

Undeclared was another 2001 comedy (college Freaks and Geeks sorta) that had the misfortune of premiering at a time in 2001 when people weren’t interested in laughing
