It's crazy how much marketing they're putting behind the Hoban shoe compared to this, the one Emerica shoe people are actually interested in.

Just got the Spanky hi, first time Emerica purchase, got them more for work than to skate. But damn, 90 bucks, and they can’t throw in a sticker or something, not even the white laces they have on the ads. They look good, but that price is absurd for what it is

That is pretty wild that literally ALL of the on-foot promo materials for this shoe are with the white laces, and they don't come with white laces in the boxes.

Thats just poor work.

Its impossible that, in whole process of marketing and selling this shoe, no one had said anything about this.

It must be because the resposibles for that decision simply dont care.

Havent tried the Wino, but have some other Hoban input.

The Hoban is really great for skateboarding, could skate them straight out of the box and love them. Skated Vans Rowan pro 1 before the Hoban, they are somewhat similar, but i feel that the Hoban have a better fit around tongue/ankle.
Use size US 9.5 in Emerica and size US 10 in Vans.

Almost glad there’s no 13s, zero temptation this way.  Still have a couple fresh pairs left - but $45 is a pretty good deal… were these returned by a retailer or something?

I would assume so. Honesty thank god, I thought I’d never see another g6 cupsole ever again. Still seem to be plenty of 11.5s so honesty I think I’m gonna buy another pair lol you can’t beat that price

Loving these. Lighter than the Spanky G6, and they've got tongue straps which is a big improvement.
The midsole feels a bit firmer than G6, but still comfy. I've dropped in G6 insoles as I can't get on with thin insoles anymore.
