Chris Cole played as gentlemanly and cleanly as one ever can. Hats off to him.

You could see the competitiveness in Suciu. He clearly hates losing and it showed. He had a bad day. I was surprised he did several of his tricks with not that great of a style. For instance the switch frontside flip.

Cole was on point that day. From a lot of his prior games in older battles it looked like his flat game was slowly diminishing too, but nope.

If you look at ones from way back all the stock tricks would be edited super fast and then more space would be allowed for more impressive ones + crowd reactions etc. Built the tension a bit, which I feel is gone now.

Matches like this are what drew us to BATB in the beginning. Hopefully we get a bunch of this caliber. That was an awesome game. Something about watching pro's just roust all the "standard" flat ground tricks is so much more entertaining than watching circus shit.
