Beagle and Shane Heyl are for sure my favorite personalities in the skate world.

Kevin Nicetry

I like this dudes videos too, but he's got to stop with the temper tantrums on whatever trick he's trying. Shit is embarrassing.

If we are talking YouTube and stuff too, Dad Board is great. Super relatable and seems like a really good human. Would hang with IRL.

George got spiritual??  Guess I’ve been sleeping on my skate YouTube game.  Monotheist or something more adventurous?  Church of the Helmeted?
[close]

Whaaaat? Lol this needs a thread on its own

He has his own podcast, sits like guru style the whole time and talks about gooms and sidharrtha stuff for an hour

Holy shit this is gold.

He took off the helmet and now his third eye is only obstructed by his bandana.

He will turn in to a limitless, genderless, ball of light if he takes that off.
I'd love to kick that guy in the nuts. Obnoxious since day 1 as 99% of people who have any connection to vlogging
Sir, I'm going to politely, but firmly, ask you and your common sense to leave this establishment.

His bittersweet and profound novel Wait Until Spring, Bandana details a journey from Chicago to California, from flow to pro to Nyjah's bro, and an unbending bravery in spreading the gospel of MAGA FoxNews and QAnon scriptures despite all reason, logic, and remaining braincells.

You can book one on one spiritual guidance with the guy. I am still undecided if I like the new George or of I am morbidly curious to see how far he goes with it

Love the beagle tapes theme song and the speed changes it goes through.

Same, the slowed music for the bangers is my favorite. I watch almost all the new Beagle tapes and it’s gotten to the point where my wife occasionally walks around the house whistling the theme song.

We casually get a house tour and he’s a classy we’ll put together Englishman and has a wine collection. Finally revealing that Bandana B was an act all along.

DadBoard has been putting up some good content, he also is old enough to know that the "WHAT'S UP YOUTUBE LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE" shit is corny so he avoids it.

I know he was pro and sponsored, from the Lyon skate-scene, but here is a guy I really liked when I was in my late teen years…

For the French people : Nicolas « MDV » Levet. « MDV » stands for « marre de vivre » which can stand for « tired of life ».

He had a blog in the late 00s called « hainehainehaine » basically 3x hatred ; and he and other bloggers would critic skateboarding in general - with a lot of « hot takes » and bad faith. I really liked it at the time because he didn’t spare anything or anybody. when didn’t like things like skate contests, skate-jocks, music he considered bad, what people would wear, video editing, music… he would say it out loud. He was basically the french skate scene biggest hater.

The blog réputation grew and grew, people were menacing him. Also I guess people from the French skate game got upset. He generally used very strong words… When he was criticizing Cliché the comment section got out of hand and people grew tired about the blog, and it was finally shut down, iirc.

I liked it because he was somehow daring saying out loud  what people thought quietly… using very harsh words, threatening people etc. A lot of 2nd degree but a lot of guys weren’t having it. Maybe he also crossed the line on certain topics…

He stills writes articles on apropos skate mag from time to time. Still very sarcastic but now it’s kind of gimmicky…

I know he lurks one here, so cheers Nico.

Damn I totally missed that...Does he have some t activities?

I remember I really disliked that blog. So much negativity. Every time I read a post I felt the guy had serious mental health issues.

As for current stuff, I confess the guilty pleasure of watching Dan Corrigan vids sometimes...   :-X
some of the sessions he films are pretty gnarly....and Charlie Wilkins is amazing to watch skate.

his transition vlogs were what got me into skating transition more than ledges

his videos honestly opened my eyes because i was a ledge/rail supremist
