It's happening with every link I post, thought it was because i needed to update YouTube and my mobile browser but that wasn't the fix

It's when people use the YouTube Short Url, we might be able to fix this in the future but I can't right now. For example
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2sFQP6adkM
works but
https://youtu.be/t2sFQP6adkM?si=8aKiN4WjNKkEERxa
doesn't.
So if they copy the url vs copying the share url it works.

it's actually kinda nice to have two options to link to youtube videos now. especially if you want to reference a video in a sentence or paragraph, but not have the video preview load and break the flow.

i share a lot of gifs, and will occasionally link to video source as seen in this post:

You just paste the url of the video

No just paste the url of the video into the text.

Unless something changed since yesterday, that hasn't worked for me in a month or more, and deleting the ?etc. does work. Hope this is useful feedback.

There's no way to just make the link provided by YouTube when copying it trough their "share button" work? @admin ?

It's about removing the "s" from "https://" in the URL, no? I think that does the trick for me at least.
