Definitely remember seeing Rodney's half cab crook nollie heel shove (nollie varial heel?) which led to everyone at the local skate park learning crook shove outs.

Ya someone’s definitely done it (no idea who) in the subsequent years but I doubt to that extent. An entire bench keeping a balanced nosegrind? Doubt it. Obviously people have done similar tricks like switch flip front nosegrind fakie flip or fakie flip 5-0 fakie flip but nobody is holding it like that on a ledge that tall. Flipping into anything on those benches from the very beginning is hairy.

Gershon's trick was sick... Ron Allen used to do them in the H-Street days, you can even bonk the board with your trailing knee to make it flop back down again (I do very ugly ones on flat ground).

I remember not long after this ad campaign, Rodney made an ad with Cole doing a nose slide flip out on a handrail... the ad was about "this is where skating is going" or something along those lines.
