The tail bash is psychotic, otherworldly control...

YouTube just recommended me this video of Carroll skating a contest in 1993 and he also does the tailbash

I was at the event, this make was in a super chaotic couple of minutes. The crowd watched and reacted to his first attempts with excitement, but I believe this was buried after 3-4 makes happening just before it dimming it down a little.

With that being said- one of my favorite skaters and v-heels ever

Not like he wasn't on...but he is official. I want to see him and Tiago do a shared part.

"“I first came across Aimu on Instagram’s Explore page. He had posted a little line that opened with a kickflip, and it was one of the most amazing flatground kickflips I had ever seen. I went straight down the rabbit hole watching all his videos. Instantly, I became a fan. His pop, his power, his board control, his finesse, and the way he stays calm on the board—it’s just really beautiful to watch him skate.

At Primitive, we have always built our team around three eras: honoring the past, representing the present, and pushing the future. I take pride in helping carry that mission forward by supporting the next generation of skaters who are laying the foundation for where skateboarding is headed. After watching Aimu skate—and later getting the chance to meet and skate with him myself—I knew right away he was going to be an important part of that future, carrying the torch not just for Primitive but for skateboarding as a whole.

I am honored to officially welcome @aimu_yamazuki to the Primitive Skate family” - @prod"

This is where I first heard of Aimu on this video. At the 14:05, he talks about his kickflips but positioning his feet like he's doing a heelflip.

At least Primitive puts out a full length annually so we won’t be denied footage year after year if he rode for someone else.

If he’s happy, then I’m at peace with his decision.

Crazy that anyone would sleep on Aimu, even for a second, most companies would be champing at the bit to scoop him up...

This whole "introduction" situation post-Wildfire seems slightly disrespectful...

P-Rod def pulling a Luis Mora w/ this one, waiting until after it’s well obvious to everybody that he’s on to make the announce.
He should prolly stop taking advice from the god inside his hat & start reading the room instead.

I think the real reason is Aimu has blown up hard since Wildfire, Primitive need some quick money (by all accounts) and they don't have a full part ready.
