Definitely slower output than his Emerica days, but its not like's allergic to putting footage out... had a solo NB part like 2 years ago.

That being said, I will always cherish and appreciate Westgate clips.

Westgate to Real so that he might have a chance to make money that he deserves. Putting out parts or not, the dude is definitely still skating at an incredibly high level. Maybe it is the fault of Element for not much coming out.

Another idea that’s way out of left field would be him riding for Girl. I kind of like that it doesn’t make the most sense but I feel like the team is lacking a guy like him. I would buy a board just for how little sense it would make.

It’s weird when these brands go out who certain skateboarder’s identities seem tied to go out.

Zered, Westgate, Kevin Taylor, and Eli Reed will always feel like Zoo York to me.

and I like Zered on Alltimers, that one video is fucking amazing to me.

The element situation is confusing to me.  I see the boards on sale for 20 dollars or whatever, never see it in real life aside from rando dirt biker types wearing the clothes, and yet they managed a collab with polo this year at polo prices.  I'm a Ralph Lauren wearing skater, so I imagine im the target audience, but I can't imagine seeing anyone in NYC anywhere I skate wearing an element x polo sweatshirt that cost hundreds of dollars instead of a polo shirt they got at tj maxx (if they are Ralph Lauren inclined/curious).  They also ran a huge ad campaign for it in thrasher and video that looked somewhat expensive to produce with the team riding around in the woods.

Seems like he goes on NB# trips fairly often so hopefully he’s saving up for a part either solo or full length. He doesn’t seem like he posts clips or goes on IG daily but he posts some good stuff here and there and Tsavv films a lot with him. That Nollie fs flip on flat on this edit was so sick. And the high speed big Ollie is classic Westgate. He probably got on Element through Barley. Seems like he’s pretty loyal to his sponsors and east coast friends or connections. Could definitely see him on Baker or Real though.
