My initial reaction was ‘oh no, don’t be a YouTuber’ but he nailed it. Nice vibe and it rules to see such a good skater self film when it’s usually relegated to dads and insufferable knobs.

Yeah I remember dming him about it when he first posted and he was really open and responsive about the whole thing. Admitting it was stupid and a dangerous story to be re posting. I was bummed at the time as well but after talking to him it was clear he’s not some right wing nut job just somebody who re posted a stupid fake story and regrets it.

Always interesting to see his skating. I wonder if he lives in my neighborhood because that first spot he's hitting is pretty much a non-spot in the sense that I can't imagine someone seeking that out. It's something I'd hit when bored. Just walking distance from my house. Either way, good skating and a nice guy in person.

Interesting how he avoided talking entirely and it was still basically a vlog.

We are in the era of YouTube actually working for skating, dudes finally finding a way to express themselves outside of video parts, without doing pants unboxings or trick tips. It shouldn't be surprising because skaters always have had their way of bending mediums to their will, but also it is surprising because YouTube was so wonky for skating for so long. It's cool to see and very entertaining.

Yeah, I feel like people are realising it's just a video site you can do what you want with. Hate when people feel like they have to succumb to the 'youtube' style of videos.
