I kinda find cast irons overrated, but honestly I don’t cook meat that often which is what they seem best at, and cleaning them is a pain.

I like crockpot’n stuff in the winter. Just chuck a bunch of shit in there and heat up the place.

I'd second this but I find myself reaching for my stainless steal pan most nights.  If you know how to use a stainless steel skillet properly it's by far the easiest dish to wash.

They really are the cooking surface is hardly ever level so there’s uneven searing, stainless steel is where it’s at for a good sear.

I use a Dutch oven for crock pot like meal, pretty good for curries.

Also air fryer’s take up a good amount of counter space Idfw them really.

Carbon steel is great too but in my opinion you loose the convince you get from using stainless since there is some upkeep.  Stainless you could just toss in a dishwasher if you really wanted to.

I got a $40 Hamilton juicer from Target the other day. Was on the fence about getting a juicer for a while, but the price was reasonable and I am absolutely not disappointed.

Fresh OJ? throw in a couple tangerines and carrots? Why not!
Watermelon juice with ginger and lime... apple, cucumber, celery juice... the list goes on and the possibilities are endless.

For the fruit and veggie lovers, quit sleeping on the juicers. Ain't really that bad cleaning them, takes maybe 3 minutes.

The pulp also makes good compost, or you can bake it into crackers.

I’m generally against any new gadgetry when it comes to kitchen equipment so I disregarded air fryers for a long time until I recently saw one on sale at Costco for $40. Brother, let me tell you those things are a game changer. For almost anything frozen that you’d otherwise throw in the oven for 20 minutes that little fucker will crisp up to perfection in about 8. I’m sure there’s dozens of other uses and applications for it but you toss in some Jose ole taquitos or a bag of tots and you’re gonna have some gas station quality snacks in under 10 minutes.
