Shops: Europe
« on: April 09, 2024, 11:04:43 AM »
Hey everyone first time poster so please bear with me. Heading to Europe in september for school and planning on traveling and doing a bunch of skating. Instead of tacky souvenirs I was planning on buying a shop board (or 3) in each city I visit. Currently no plan on where im going yet but i have 4 months to do whatever so no city is out of the question. Wondering what peoples favourite shops are around europe?

For Vienna I‘d suggest Freedom Skateshop in the 7th district. Skater owned and operated core shop with good selection of hardgoods.

I love when people bring up world hunger. It makes everything meaningless.
"That guy is double parked."
"Who cares? There are people starving to death! Besides, how does that affect you? Does it lessen the joy of parking?

figured I'd ask here rather than start a new thread, but I'm heading to Europe this summer and was hoping for some recommendations on shops/spots/bars/anything else worth checking out. My loose itinerary is Tallinn, Estonia; Riga, Latvia; Vilnius, Lithuania; and Krakow, Poland. Belgrade, Sofia and Bucharest are also on my radar. If anyone has any insight into these cities, or any other cities around the region worth checking out, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'll also be in Thessaloniki, Greece and Bologna, Italy at some poiint. I'll be with friends who don't skate in these two cities, but, again, if anyone has any general recommendations I'd appreciate it.

Helsinki is just a short boat trip away from Tallinn so it's definitely worth checking out as well if you have time.

I remember 2 shops in Krakow from the time I lived there around 2015-2016

Munich: So Hot Right Now - definitely get some Shop merch there. Owners also run a Bar closeby. Both are in the livliest part of town (Glockenbach). Also right next to river Isar where you can have beers on the shore. Pretty dreamy.

So hip it hurts. More of a Nike SB showroom than a skate shop tbh.
