He took skateboarding as seriously as it should be, which is not at all.

Can't even begin to explain how awesome he was.  Absolutely gutting.  If you got to hang with him, you know.

Pure of heart, a comedic mind like no one else, and a love for skateboarding that is greater than anyone you've ever met.

This is a rough one.

there was a really good retrospective article i read awhile back on hot rod and that whole scene where he shared some super funny stories. (including one about seeing jonah hill at a club years after he got famous)

anyone know where that's at. can't seem to find it

Didn't know Chris, but growing up in Stl, it seems we had some of the same friends and aquaintences. RIP to a fellow skater and St. Louisan.

Never realized how involved in hot rod and stuff he was . As said by a lot of people , he made mornings before school fun in a time where cool skate content wasn’t as readily available and certainly not on cable. RIP Chris , we lost a good one. Gonna donate later this week.

Maybe too early to call, but disappointed I’m not seeing any big donations from the Craig camp other than Megan Baltimore donating like $500. The muska donated more than that.

Jenkem posted this today about FUEL TV, but it is heavily centered around the Captain and Casey show. Maybe Chris' last interview. Had some nice nostalgic moments and was a good watch.

Hopefully not a kook, but if so, fuck it.

Yes! Great video. And, they cover the precursor to Captain and Casey, which I was asking about earlier in the thread. It was called Wide World of Skateboarding (WWS). Props to Jenkem. RIP Chris Casey.
