Storied skateboarding didn't get permission to Use all art and video from PJLWHL

Storied literally used all the artwork, video and logos form PJLWHL for the board and it's marketing and did not ask permission from anyone.

I just think it's fucked that you can make money off of something you had nothing to do with creating,  all while using all the elements of it to market the product.  And never ask anyone for permission.  if you think that's cool then that says something about you.

IANAL but this derivative work would possibly fall under fair use for being sufficiently transformative. Would be up for the courts to decide, if the copyright owners issued a cease and desist that wasn't honored that is.

because it's skaters ripping off other skaters, which I don't agree with.   The whole idea of Storied is to honor the history Skateboarding,  how do you do that when you have no respect for the makers? Whether it's the guys who filmed it or the guys who made it.   They deserve the respect to know how their stuff is used.
