His base will still support him no matter what. He could SA a child on national TV and they will do all the mental gymnastics they are so great at to somehow make him the victim.

Remember, 100% of jurors found him guilty of sexual assault before he took office.

Yeah sticking it to gay people and artsy white women are their only concerns frfr.

Fuck em both, I wouldn't be surprised if this is all staged

I say that’s exactly what this is — a smoke screen to make people forget the “big beautiful bill.”

Exactly. This is all just entertainment to gloss over the fact that the American economy is about to be fucked. It’s already started, but this is just the beginning. I’d say no one is going to be able to buy or sell a home this time next year.

I don't know much about real estate, why are you saying about the not being able to buy / sell a home, how does that work?

I don't know much about real estate, why are you saying about the not being able to buy / sell a home, how does that work?

Tarrifs = inflation increase
With an inflation increase = federal reserve increases interest rates
Higher interest rates = higher mortgage payments

Inflation also kills the purchasing power of the American dollar. With less value in the dollar, less people can afford to purchase a home. Less in the buy/sale market, also less homes being built as labor and materials cost more that companies can’t afford to build.

However, some think real estate is a good investment in times of economic inflation. Really it’s only somewhat positive if you have a fixed rate mortgage, which basically means your monthly payments are a standard price. Even with that, if the value of the American dollar goes down, you have to pay for double the amount with the same budget. It’s already been happening over the last few years with groceries. A recession doesn’t have to be instantaneous like it was in 2008. It can also be a gradual erosion of an economy.

I just hope I don’t see the complete downfall of this country in my lifetime. I don’t feel like fighting over millionaire money I’ll never smell

I would say that if this is political theater with the intent to divert attention away from the bill then the Elon's choice to tweet that the bill is an abomination doesn't really line up with that.

It's Monster Island baby. Let them fight.

Elon was Trump's nuke. Hey Congressperson, do you have an election coming up? Well vote the way Trump tells you to on everything (cabinet appointments, court appointments, budgets) or the homie Elon will dump hundreds of millions into your race for the other guy. Then Wisconsin happened and Elon's money failed to elect the MAGA justice to their Supreme Court. Now all of a sudden, it's what have you done for me lately? Elon's money can't gaslight people when they see and feel the material effects of Project 2025 and he is a liability as an active participant but still has some use as a blame sponge. You don't gotta keep him around for that tho. But hey, that's the richest guy in the world and he probably has feelings too! So now he's lashing out as he realizes he was used like all the other ones and will use his platform that got Trump elected to kill the bill. It only takes a couple of Senators and it's over for the BB Bill. They can vote for whatever kooky shit they want to because Elon won't run someone else against them anymore.

I want to be crystal clear here and say there are no good guys anywhere in any of this.

Every fucking state should be hitting the streets. NYC should be out in force, every large city that isn’t fucked in the head as the national guard and their defences can’t attack everyone.  Leaving this to LA is nuts.  I’m amazed how lax the US is to all this shit.

Dipshit spoke with KGB or GRU(whatever they’re called now) 4 days ago, now we have federal troops sent in to California that weren’t required/requested. Does anyone think that this was a coincidence? Dry run for the next coup anyone?

Images of burning cars while waving the Mexican flag is jet fuel to flame Trump’s fire.

I’ve seen so much footage of police attacking citizens, it’s just like 2020 all over again. They know there’s no consequences. This cop shot an Australian reporter with a rubber bullet from behind about 10’ away. They do not give a fuck.

Absolutely! They predict riots and chaos from the masses, then they have an excuse to do whatever they want. Go home! Let the marines and national guard stand out there for no reason. The old way is broken. A new wave of activism must be formed. We have to figure out a way to be unpredictable. I dont think we are there yet. Its so hard when rage is running through your mind, im sure.

I respect the thought, but disagree. All activism eventually requires a physical component, not saying violence, but physically standing up, and the time when this is most effective is when others  will join you, which is now.

^That line of thought also completely disregards why people are protesting right now. And that's not because of some theoretical poli-sci argument, but because real people are being disappeared as we sit here debating the ideal time and place for civil disobedience. That's a luxury many people simply don't have. They're protesting today because tomorrow their loved ones or even they themselves might not be here anymore.

Stephen Miller and Bannon are probably very excited about this situation. It is a distraction from some of the big issues that Trump  and the GOP just want to go away.

The Musk/Trump--temporary--fall out doesn't make them look good. After sitting in so many meetings, Musk probably has more to disclose than the obvious Trump-Epstein connection. No one in the admin wants Musk to air the Trump admin's dirty laundry. Not to mention the right doesn't want to cut Musk loose as they want his money.
The bill being moved through Congress is going to push people off medicaid, cut SNAP (food stamp) benefits, cut green energy funding, and increase the country's debt with some new tax cuts and by extending previous Trump cuts. It is going to harm the "working class" and benefit the very wealthy. Not a good look for the party who is pretending to be on the side of workers.
And, Trump's tariff nonsense has been whiplashing the economy around and isn't generating positive headlines.
None of these things make our TV obsessed president look good.
And none of these are single news-cycle issues.

Getting into a fight with Newsome about "lawlessness" in California due to "protecting illegal immigrants 'criminals'" is going to distract and excite his base. Immigration is his most popular issue. The last poll I saw noted that 37% of Americans don't give a fuck about due process for non-citizens and over 50% of Americans think Trump is prioritizing criminals not the law abiding people who dreamt of a better life. Waymos on fire, cop cars smashed with rocks, and people waving Mexican flags is a wet dream for the administration. A few incidents can be framed and sold as if it is the 1992 riots all over again. It is a story FOX dreams of to sell their fear based hatred.

I'd argue the best way to protect people and make sure they are treated properly is to teach everyone their rights when interacting with authorities, give them a script to follow when interacting with agents, and put an American flag on every single house in LA county.

The rabble will figure out ways to hate (think of the legal Haitian immigrant hate used to help Trump's campaign), but some narratives are easier than others to spin. Let's make the narrative as difficult as possible to spin.

Quote from: ChuckRamone

Not sure if this dark enlightenment thing has been brought up yet. I think its all a distraction to get that real good control. Its like a calculated jiu-jitsu move.
I think we should be more fearful of this shit that they've been planning.

All you need to know about the way plan to take over was already done in Germany. They are literally using the exact same tactics as the Hitler and the S.A. did.
Look at how the Weimar Republic fell. This is what they’re trying to do right now. Next is Operation Canned Goods. I’m just not sure if Canada or Mexico will be our Poland(guessing Mexico just for the fact that the current government is racist as fuck). Too bad no one bothered to pay attention to history and this is all surprisingly new to people. Create a problem then seize control and do not relinquish it. Old hat.

All very much playing in to that greasy Cheetos hands (don't be surprised if there's no midterms and state of emergency totalitarian power is put in place).

The fires were flashbangs that police and ice setting things off instigators if you will. I'd argue that peaceful protests do work however that'd require the police and etc.. to have a conscious and understand what ppl are pissed about, hard to stay peaceful when there's a proverbial boot over someone's neck literally and figuratively.

There's WAAAAYYY more citizens than authority,  I'd gladly love to see the mass protesters march upon DC the way those cucks on Jan 6th.

Trump announced his plans to end FEMA after the 2025 hurricane season -- a season his appointed head of FEMA didn't know existed.

People in the south who voted for him are seriously about to be fucked.

Wonder who they'll blame? Obama? AOC and her New Green Deal? Hunter Biden's dick?

Crazy to hear Trump and his team say that all the protesters are paid violent criminals. Totally delulu. That blonde lady gave a press conference today and a news reporter asked her for the proof Trump has when he says that protestors were paid, to which she responded that Trump has common sense and boxes of masks were seen left in protest areas, not to mention claimed 400 ppl who were criminal immigrants were arrested since June 6. When the news reporter pointed out that there are thousands of ppl protesting, she accused said reporter of supporting violent criminal immigrants and ended the press conference, leaving in a huff.

I really hope these protests get bigger and bigger and expand city to city so this administration can't try to portray the widespread public outrage as simply fringe extremists and paid criminal immigrants.
