Kash Patel and the FBI have begun investigating all left-wing groups for any kind of connection to the shooter. Just a circus show now looking for any reason to blame the left, sow division, and spread political hate.

Can’t wait to see some of those crazy ass connections —like “this liberal group likes pizza and the shooter likes pizza, which means this group was reaponsible for grooming the shooter.”
Kash Patel is going to be lucky if he makes it through this week as director. MAGA is pissed at him for both the bungling of the investigation and the Valhalla shoutout he directed at Charlie. It would make sense that he would turn to dry snitchin to get his dumbass out of hot water.

Also farmers in Arkansas and Nebraska who are mad at Trump because they’re losing their farms are no longer mad at Trump or focused on their bankruptcies.

I don’t think that will last.  China ain’t buying our soy beans and that’s a constant that will last beyond these 2 weeks on newsiness

i heard an audio clip of that in a podcast this morning and it broke my brain. i am glad it is causing confusion and question, because i can’t stop wondering why he was pulling that ideological thread. full psycho dog whistle.

The article says the dead guy was answering a question about transgender people when he was shot, but I saw that shit go down, and he was attempting to deflect a question about gun violence by asking if gang-related shootings count.
[close]

A guy had asked Kirk how many trans mass shooters there had been over the past X years, Kirk responded "too many" to some brain dead cheering. The guy followed up by asking the number of mass shooters total over the same period, which Kirk attempted to deflect with a racist dogwhistle.

Presumably the guy asking the question was going to compare the number of trans mass shooters against the total number of mass shooters and potentially compare that ratio against the percentage of the population that identifies as transgender (which would suggest that trans shooters are underrepresented and therefore less prone to gun violence). As we saw however, the whole thing was uh, interrupted.

Ah! Thank you for providing greater context. The video I saw may not have shown the beginning of the exchange. That or I failed to encode that part to memory.

God damn....

https://thegrayzone.com/2025/09/12/charlie-kirk-netanyahu-israel-assassination/
I found it weird that Net&Yahoo had to declare that he didn’t have anything to do with it, and than blamed it on Islamists and the left.

However, that Tyler guy was a Groyper, a follower of Nick Fuentes, who hates Jewish people, so I doubt Israel had anything to do with it. They’d probably blackmail or threaten CK if he didn’t spew Zionist propaganda, because he was a useful tool for normalizing hatred of Muslims.

Republicans’ obsession with trans people and trying to pin “trans ideology” as motivation for what happened is so fucking stupid, but not surprising.

Not that I'm bashing anyone who's trans or under that umbrella the "rights obsession" with anything lgbtq+ is their own projections and confessions.

What? Perhaps maybe because their rights are constantly being threatened. Perhaps maybe the obsession is due to existential reasons.

Interesting turn of events:

Not making a wedding cake for gay people. Constitutional right.
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/supreme-court/narrow-ruling-supreme-court-gives-victory-baker-who-refused-make-n872946

Not fulfilling your job as a government employee to issue a marriage license. Should be a constitutional right.
https://www.scotusblog.com/2025/08/will-the-supreme-court-revisit-its-ruling-on-same-sex-marriage/

Refusing to make a website for a gay couple's wedding. Constitutional right.
https://newrepublic.com/article/173987/mysterious-case-fake-gay-marriage-website-real-straight-man-supreme-court

Refusing to print a poster for right-wing podcaster. Illegal.
https://www.nytimes.com/2025/09/16/us/politics/pam-bondi-hate-speech-charlie-kirk.html

If this made it to the Supreme Court it would take some serious mental gymnastics for the 6 right wing justices to say, "Refusing to make a cake or a website is legal, but people can be forced to print posters."

i honestly don’t see it being a huge stretch on their part. the cake and website have design elements that constitute speech on the part of the designer / implementer (the baker and the developer) but the employee at the print shop is paid to run a machine. it is not their speech being infringed upon. if i was a conservative justice and a cunt, i would start there.

left/right politics aside, the thing antifascist need to prioritize is cultivating a pipeline of lawyers, legal activists and judges that can compete with what has been put in place by right wing institutions for decades.

I can easily see them defending the first two on practimg religious freedom, being religion is a protected class. The refusal will be challenged based on political bias being the basis and with that not a protected class, it’ll be deemed as prejudice.

The thing I’d be worried about is Trump “joking” about saying the quiet part out loud — when told during a press conference that people still have their 1st Amendment Right and are out there still protesting, his immediate response was “I wouldn’t be so sure about that.”

Media needs to start cracking down and taking his words seriously instead of sane-washing that idiot. He’s literally talking about dismantling the first point in the Bill of Rights and people are brushing it off as if it were nothing.

This is a smart idea and probably the route she would go, it is a clever distinction (creative v mechanical) but I feel it would be hard to say political affiliation is a protected class.

And, if they won, conservatives would regret it immediately.

The DOJ just SILENTLY deleted an FBI led study that Republicans committ the most politically charged violence. Convenient that Kash will probably use the FBI to rewrite the narrative.

You're right maybe I'm a bit tone deaf for that (just pointing out their usual behaviors as projections) I apologize.  I'm seeing quite a bit of that side freely using memes to bag on lgbtq+  it sucks as we're reverting backwards towards kooks using slurs and other reprehensible behaviors.

The idea that anyone really thought the killer was a Nick Fuentes fan is pretty amusing.

It was a painfully obvious coping mechanism for the gravedancers who felt the need to morally distance themselves from the killer while still being happy about what he did. This has backfired spectacularly, because a lot more people noticed that than you think.

Ben Shaprio told him so.

Odd that they read so much off identity rather than ideology. And with Patel at the helm of the FBI, one can’t help but question authenticity. Much like the MS13 knuckle tattoos the FBI produced to justify deporting that man from Maryland.

It reads like this:

On a new note, watching Patel dodge and sidestep every question of whether or not Trump in mentioned in the Epstein files should be a HUGE red flag for people.
