Also a dem won Texas special election for the first time in decades and tRump wants the federal government to run all voting.
Fuck the states having control. It’s to difficult to stuff ballots that way!
[close]

And he said it straight up on Dan Bongino’s podcast, too. He’s saying it out loud and MAGA and FOX are quick with the typical “The Left can’t take a joke” shit.

Man, remember when language of stealing elections, civil war, and quid pro quos were grounds for impeachment?
[close]

I remember when yelling “BYYYYAAAAAH!” was all it took for people to think a candidate was unpresidential.

People forget - that was his rallying cry after coming in 4th.   He was toast already

Edit: came in third (in Iowa)

That was a fucking hard arc to live through as a voter. We went from maybe electing Al Gore to centrist, hawkish Dems beating somebody like Dean easily but then being too liberal to ever be elected. Straight up dog walked into the Iraq invasion with the Congressional vote for that shitting all over whatever liberal credibility they might have had left. Trump for sure capitalized on that stigma but he never served or held office so it was just armchair quarterbacking. He's clearly the worst kind of hawk. John Edwards went from coming in 2nd in those caucuses and becoming the Dem VP nominee to being indicted for using campaign money to hide his cheating on his wife who was dying of cancer.

I was happy to lap up the thin neoliberal gruel that Obama served up just because it seemed stable and familiar. Come to find out, Silicon Valley was using the trojan horse of technoutopia to set the stage for their coup. They built out the next gen communication infrastructure and then intentionally began corroding it with disinformation. I can feel myself being radicalized.

But that guy screams weird. But her emails.

SCOTUS ruled that CA can use the new voting maps.

ZERO DISSENTS.

The lack of Clarence Thomas' shitty feedback, leaves me with a feeling that him, Alito, and Roberts know that Trump will meddle with the midterm elections and are voting this way to come off as competent while not coming off as complicit.

Bannon said ICE is going to be everywhere on Election Day, but that seems logistically improbable.

Not everywhere, just 15 cities (Trump mentioned on Dan Borgino podcast) that are big, heavy Democratic cities.

I get that. Just the implication is while "everywhere" is technically unfeasible, "everywhere" for them is simply Democrat run cities. Especially huge ones like LA, SF, Chicago, Atlanta, etc.

All of that on top of making sure to make voting in those cities will be as difficult as possible. Probably shit like, no parking within 2-miles of polling locations, restricting the amount of polling locations in heavily populated area, no bathrooms, etc.

Good thing there’s still mail in voting or drop boxes. If you mail MAKE SURE ITS POSTMARKED BEFORE ELECTION DAY. Anything that’s marked after that(even if it was mailed before) won’t be counted. Do it a couple weeks, or more, early if you can.

Positive news: looks like all the new ICE recruits are getting screwed on their pay checks or just not getting paid at all!🤣

Also, Millers concentration camps he wants built are being rebelled against even in red states/districts.

Note: With USPS new ruling, letters will now be postmarked when it gets to the regional center rather than when the post office first gets it and processes it. This, especially in rural areas, can add a 1-2 day delay to your postmark.

Make no mistake, this is a way to void as many mail-in ballots as possible. So if you do vote by mail, do it early!

The previous postmaster general is a Trump lackey, with ties to a logistic company, who cut funding to make services less efficient. The USPS went from making profit to losing billions of dollars per year. It’s most likely that Republicans want to ruin it so one of them can buy it for cheap, and commit ballot fraud, since that’s one of the things Republicans accuse Democrats of doing.

The documents from the Epstein files are awful. They left victims names while redacting pedophiles’. What happened to “He didn’t traffic girls to anyone”? On top of that, the deputy AG said that there wouldn’t be any further prosecution. I don’t get how these people claim to be Christians while covering up for pedos.

They wouldn’t bother in states that aren’t close. It would be Philly, Atlanta, Milwaukee, Detroit, etc.

That's the GOP plan — run everything into the ground, campaign on fixing things (they broke), fix those things by privatizing them, profit (for themselves).

That pretty much sums it up.

I’m 100% certain the reference in the Epstein files about Don don blowing Bubba was in fact true:

Also explains all the Hillary hate. Ol DIAPER DONALD is jealous! Isn’t that cute?!

Keep an eye on the administration doing the old Putin/Donetsk move for secession-minded Albertans in an oil-rich, right wing province.   Apparently that’s the part of Canada they really want.

Also, I will never understand the oil industry.   Why do we still need so much oil.  We have massive surpluses

Fred Trump was the landlord of Woody "This Land is Your Land, This land is my land" Guthrie...Guthrie even wrote a song about "old man trump"

His goal is to just keep making money and increase the already un-spendablely, astronomically high numbers in his bank accounts, by any means necessary. The future versions of him all want to be like him. we're fucked.

It's a cult.  They're either really really stupid, which I think many of them are, or they're just garbage human beings, or a combination of it all.  Fox News took full advantage of this demographic of simpleton bigots and ran with it.

There are similarities with a cult, for sure, because cult leaders fill voids with simplistic answers. But as many people here have pointed out, it's not simply a matter of the followers' intelligence. Poverty (or the imminent threat of it), hopelessness, and disinformation campaigns have created voids for people who hadn't felt them as much before (or as consciously), and it has frightened them. It has driven them to distrust institutions they used to trust, and it has also made them more vulnerable and dependent on the cult.

Sen Marsha Blackburn from TN criticized SCOTUS Judge Ketanji Jackson for being at the Grammys and is insisting they probe into the attendance. She said her being there (she was nominated for a book she narrated), where anti-ICE comments were made, makes her question her ethics and whether she can remain politically impartial.

https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/5726897-justice-jackson-grammy-controversy/amp/

Blackburn ignored all glossed over all accusations and evidence of Clarence Thomas accepting high-value gifts as well as Alito’s flying the flag upside down when Biden was elected. But this, this is where she puts her foot down.

All republicans are disingenuous. However, I don’t think Supreme Court justices should do anything but Supreme Court things. They have the most impactful jobs in the country, so they don’t need to write books or give speeches or narrate films. I’m so tired of how these public servants are always trying to work some angle to make money or boost their status. If I were paid $300K to be a Supreme Court justice or $175K for Congress I wouldn’t be worrying about a side hustle. There is too much money in politics and most of these people are on the take. I’ve always said Congress people should have corporate sponsor patches on the suit jackets so we know who is paying them off.
