Didn't somebody here suggest the administration is trying to let the USPS fail so they can bankrupt it, get their grubby hands all in it and kill mail-in voting?

I saw a recent article about the USPS's fiscal losses recently and immediately thought of that.
[close]

I read somewhere too that they want the usps to fail so they can have amazon take over for the post offices.
[close]

They never fully said it, but the implication was there. Trump’s former postmaster DeJoy had stock in UPS and other conflicting companies.

Things he implemented made USPS less efficient such as killing sorting machines for the slower hand sorting. Then Trump also constantly claimed the USPS was losing money every year. Thing in, USPS is a SERVICE not a BUSINESS.

USPS is especially needed in rural areas where mail is sent to these areas for pennies on the dollar, versus if FedEx sent it, that same postage would be hundreds of dollars more.

Basically, GOP want to privatize everything. Jails, social securiy, health, military, etc. Its more profitable to them when you own stock in a company that gets government contracts.
Yeah @EdLawndale that's been my bugaboo about the USPS for years so I've probably griped about it somewhere before. The stuff that's gone down with Lewis DeJoy is just another step in the plan to eliminate a necessary service. It stretches back to a Bush era law that compelled the USPS to prefund the pensions for all of their staff going forward for the next 75 years, and they had a 10 year window to come up with the funding. It took a functioning service that was being disrupted by the adoption of email and kneecapped their budget. Going forward, the GOP Congress could always say it was struggling financially and maybe we'd just be better off letting Jeff Bezos take the wheel.

I saw the Antihero hat on Hasan's stream too. This is fried Hollywood shit but I think he probably hired a stylist recently because his fits have been more subdued. The Gifted Hater roast of his fits is all-time. I think since the Twitch ban he's dumped the gamer overhead cam for something a little more fireside chat too.

Pretty funny how GOP are claiming MN Rep, Ilhan Omar, threatened Trump’s life.

What she said: “In my country, we put pedophiles to death.”

Pretty funny and telling how MAGA are really know what Trump is and are still defending him.

Trump succeeded in getting Canada to spend more on defense... but instead of giving 75% of its defense money to American companies, Canada is going to expand spending domestically.
https://www.nytimes.com/2026/02/15/world/canada/canada-military-spending.html

Also, Canadians can travel to China visa free and Canada will be getting Chinese cars. Trump wanted American car manufacturers out of Canada, I wonder if BYD is going to take their spot. Trump's buddy Musk won't like Mexico/Canada having access to better cars that are half the price of a Tesla.

"Who cares? There are people starving to death! Besides, how does that affect you? Does it lessen the joy of parking?

Trump’s DOJ said they releases all the files according to the Epstein Transparency Act. Kinda in bad faith seeing how they redacted names of perps and left the info of victims. Also how there’s supposedly 6million+ files and Bondi released about half of that. Most only recently, under pressure, and still heavily redacted.

Epstein’s victims will never know justice under this administration all while Ghislane Maxwell is living a privileged life in minimum security facility.

There will be no justice for these fools. Even if Democrats win the next elections, persecuting every Republican scumbag for four years is just going to be bad optics (and just how many can you convict with due process in this time?). The right will simply come together again under the guise of being unfairly persecuted. The only way this does not happen is for GOP to implode in the next three years and do some clean-up themselves.

Hopefully, if this happens, most GOP who aren't in the files will flip on those who are in the files for immunity.

In reality, I really want to see Trump, Bondi, and Kash prosecuted the most. Bondi and Patel took a look at all the files and still opted to protect Trump rather than the innocent.

Oh shit. Guess they couldn’t stop the Pedo President from being exposed.

https://newrepublic.com/post/206599/evidence-trump-epstein-pam-bondi

“[REDACTED] stated Epstein introduced her to Trump who subsequently forced her head down to his exposed penis which she subsequently bit. In response, Trump punched her in the head and kicked her out,” reads the first entry, noting that the victim would have been between 13 and 15 years old and that the incident took place sometime between 1983 and 1985.
But the second accusation against the president, which involves Trump agreeing with Epstein that a 14-year-old victim was a “good one,” carries a different kind of credibility inside the DOJ, since the person who provided the statement was also used as a key government witness to convict Maxwell, according to the files.
“[REDACTED] remembered Epstein introduced her to Trump saying ‘This is a good one, huh’ and Trump responded ‘Yes’. (date range roughly 1984, [REDACTED] would have been 14),” the slide reads.
Trump was mentioned more than 38,000 times in the latest batch of Epstein files, and was flagged in more than 5,300 files in the document cache.

Why do you think Bondi and the GOP are having Bill and Hillary testify? They’re trying to make examples out of them, so they can show the world they’re doing something about the Epstein Files while protecting their own.

Hell, even Trump said he was going to have Bondi open investigations into [just] Democrats who were mentioned in the files.

Their base will eat it up. Anytime I see a social media post about Trump & Epstein, some boomer or Russian troll posts a photoshopped picture of Obama standing with Epstein.

Hearing Maxwell say that she can testify that Clinton didn’t do anything wrong makes me not care what happens to him. She’s a liar just like Cheeto Dick.

Don’t these people have a lot of dirt on each other? I don’t think the Clintons will say much and I don’t think the Republicans will press them too much. If they do the Clintons could probably make it real messy. I kind of hope that will happen. None of the people who used to party with Epstein should have a career in politics. That there will probably be little to no consequences for anyone tells you all you need to know about how fucked the American democracy really is.

Board of Peace as he bombed Venezuela and is about to start a war with Iran.

Also, of course this is just another avenue to take taxpayers' money.

Then when a Dem gets in office, MAGA will be back to scrutinizing every cost, asking, "where are we going to get the money for this?!"

Well, IG won’t give me the option to post on jazzy pants Vance or tRumps posts anymore so….
Who wants to copy pasta this for me?

DOJ ATTEMPTS TO SCRUB TRUMPS CRIMES FROM EPSTEIN FILES:
The Department of Justice spoke four separate times to a woman who credibly accused Donald Trump of having sex with a minor he met through Jeffrey Epstein—but most accusations against the president appear to have been removed from the government’s documents on the alleged sex trafficker.

A 21-page slideshow buried in the massive trove of Epstein-related documents included allegations that sometime between 1983 and 1985, Trump forced a woman to give him oral sex when she was in her early teens. When the woman bit down on Trump’s exposed penis, he allegedly punched her in the head and kicked her out. That same woman told the DOJ that Epstein had introduced her to Trump in 1984.

Yet last week, Attorney General Pam Bondi insisted that there was “no evidence” that Trump had committed any crime—adding to the growing pile of denials from Trump officials that constitute a sweeping cover-up of the president’s alleged wrongdoing.
Justice Department records indicate that the FBI spoke to this woman not once but at least four separate times, according to independent journalist Roger Sollenberger. Now those records appear to have been removed from public viewing—despite the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which requires all documents relating to the alleged sex trafficker to be made public.

Sollenberger discovered a record of four separate interviews, which took place in the summer of 2019, in a separate database of documents downloaded from the government’s public files on Epstein. That document indicated that the first of the four interviews was conducted on July 24, 2019, and the last conducted on October 16, 2019. That document was given to Ghislaine Maxwell’s lawyers as part of her trial, though the specific allegations predated Maxwell’s involvement with Epstein, Sollenberger wrote.
The woman’s first interview was entered into the FBI’s case files on August 9, 2019, just one day before Epstein was found dead in his jail cell. FBI agents typically have a deadline of five working days to file interview write-ups, indicating an abnormal 16-day gap, Sollenberger noted.

Thanks

Also, with the tariffs being deemed illegal, don't except things to get cheaper. Yes, businesses will stop paying tariffs, but instead of passing the costs onto you, they'll just keep prices where they're at and announce record profits at the end of the year.

Trump always goes to the Supreme Court when he does not like lower court rulings. He has to respect the Supreme Court. Also, who will collect and pay tariffs now? And I expect lawsuits from other countries. I think this is the one that puts to bed this nonsense.
