THE TRUMPS ALL VOTED BY MAIL
hey hold up I thought he said mail in voting was fraudulent

Love it!

Still have a strong feeling he will do everything he can to fuck with the midterms.  Hope he dies by then.

The way the universe is working, we’re gonna see Trump live to 100 and we’ll see the deaths of Keanu Reeves, Liam Neeson, and Tony Hawk in the next few months.

Any guesses on what the ‘gift’ from Iran was?
I’m guessing it’s us lifting sanctions on Iranian and Russian oil and being spun as a ‘gift’ to lower gas/fertilizer prices when, in reality, it’s us getting fucked while sparing the snowflakes feelings since he’s completely fucked in this.

The story I head was that a tanker may or not have gotten through but the not part was pretty much confirmed by someone from the company that operates the tanker. Similar story to when Energy Secretary Chris Wright claimed a tanker had gotten through with a US Navy escort which also turned out not to be true. Playing the hits.

It's probably something that Trump will keep then donate to his library like the plane from Qatar.

Only days ago was Trump touting a 15-point plan to negotiate peace with Iran. Today, the White House Press vehemently denies the existence of such a plan: https://www.the-independent.com/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-iran-ceasefire-plan-denial-b2945693.html

Talk about losing credibility with foreign nations. This gives zero reason for any country to come to the table with Trump. He says things out of his ass then doesn't follow through.

It's going to take years for the US to earn respect from other nations again.

Trump set a precedent for backing out of treaties and agreements. It makes little to no sense for countries to negotiate when policy can flip flop every 4-8 years, depending on who is in the White House.

The Biden administration tried to renegotiate a nuclear deal with Iran but they were rightfully weary about Trump coming back into office.

On top of that, negotiations from America don’t mean shit. They were in the middle of negotiations with Iran who was willing to agree to the conditions, until the United States of Israel started bombing them, with the negotiator being one of the first people to be killed. Most non-NATO countries recognize that USA is two-faced and doesn’t really give a shit about peace.

If Trump didn’t pull out of the nuclear deal in his first administration, none of this shit would have happened because Israel wouldn’t have any bullshit reason that the west could support.

US Treasury deems the nation insolvent.

Who know electing a president who is known for bankrupting 11 businesses — INCLUDING A CASINO — would add $12 Trillion+ to the deficit without any plan to fix the budget and/or economy.

TSA is finally getting paid. Hope people see that the payment is coming to them via the $10B discretionary fund allocated to DHS in the 2025 Big Beautiful Bill. Hope people also see that $10B is more than enough to fund TSA for a year. Hope people now see that this means Trump and Republicans could've been paying TSA this whole time but didn't because hurting workers was their leverage to get what they want and now they lost their leverage, they're now just hoping to come off as heroes.

Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, removed two women and two black Army officers from the promotions list. Reports are claiming his motivations are unclear, but ask yourself, "why would a misogynist white Christian Nationalist remove women and black people from a well deserved role!?"

Also, under the military's "Up or Out" policy, this move just basically ended the 20+ year military careers of those four individuals. And this is NOT the first time he's ended careers in an abrupt and unceremonious way.

I can’t remember if it was on the previous page, but the goal is to ruin TSA to replace it with a security company owned by one of Trump’s lackeys. One of the goals of Project 2025 was to privatize TSA.

They ruined USPS so we will have to use FedEx/UPS to mail letters which will be more expensive. Rural communities will lose their access to mail, including medication delivery.

When TSA gets replaced, we’ll have idiots pulling the majority of people to the side to pat down their genitals, because that’s the closest they can get to having sex, and it will probably take 2-3 hours to go through security instead of 30-60 minutes.

The plan for the Heritage Foundation and Republicans is to privatize EVERYTHING!!

Prisons, hospitals, schools, TSA, fire dept, libraries, USPS, etc.

They intend to break everything to prove that it doesn't work so they can privatize it and profit off it.

I'd imagine all people who're willing to be employed by a Trump owned security team would be nothing but the worst premature ejaculators, so it'd probably be closer to 2-3 seconds.

Trump paid a French company $1,000,000,000 in tax payer money for a deal that would have the French company abandon off-shore wind leases, securing a future for oil and coal. An industry he and his friends have a lot of stock in.

Bloomberg.

Learned common phrase in China is "Trump the Nation Builder." The nation they're referencing is China. In China people are calling Trump the China Builder. Also, listening to Ezra Klien or Jon Stewart (can't remember which one), China's adoption of robots in their factories is booming. This keeps their production costs low. Outside of inability to even come close on manufacturing costs, this is terrifying in the sense that--if we focus on efficiency--what is left for us to do? White collar, LLM can do it. Blue collar, robot can do it.

Year to year comparisons are usually hyperbole, but I worry this is the start of a trend. I'd like to see previous years to get a real understanding how this is different across time.

This is unacceptable. The Trump grift makes anyone in congress look like a saint.

Public servants should be like fucking nuns, they had a calling to support their country, they should be comfortable but never wealthy. I'd vote for a redesign of the system that forces anyone who takes a government job at x level or higher is blocked from any advisor, board, or executive job for life. They can only be regular ass employees, unless they run a medical practice.

I know a few diplomats and they used to brag about the shit ass American cars American diplomats used to get around. They compared themselves to Russian diplomats who love their luxury vehicles. The normal car was meant to show we were there to serve our country and foster relations with others, not benefit ourselves from our position.

The overt corruption and manipulation of the market/inside information is sickening. The political economy of America has always been rigged in the sense that class mobility is limited but to see those with access to power make millions in seconds with no thought and no narrative to justify it is sickening. Americans are watching their 401Ks tumble (again), while Trump and his cronies make insane wealth on top of the wealth that would last until the end of human civilization.

I remember sitting in Russia and seeing how the government operated--from the police to the universities to those in the Duma--and I said, "This is America's future. This is what the Republican Party wants." We aren't in the same crony-capitalism/kleptocracy system quite yet, but we are heading down that path quickly. And, with Ellison owning CNN and his son owning TikTok and Sinclair owning so many local stations, we are going to repeat their media landscape, which will make it all the easier. The current grifts are just the start   :(
