Honestly,  I feel the same way. This was a great take in my opinion. I was not too fortunate when I first started skating,  so I had airwalk shoes and got roasted because I was poor. But I was passionate about skating.

But then I clicked the link and read the description and what I think a lot of you are missing here is that they are confirmed “built to keep up with the grind” so that not only means the grind of daily life but also grinding on a skateboard I mean, that pretty much sells the shoe to a skater like me.

I am a bit sceptical because I see no grind in the advertisement.

In this Thrasher interview he talks about a pretty gnarly ankle break skating a huge hubba. Sounds like that took him out for a bit - couldn’t walk for two months.

He has some incredible shit under his belt and still rips.
