flat ground no pop fs shuv
I have never looked up a trick tip for it and I don't think I should.
Standard shuvits were probably learned alongside ollies but I could never figure out fs without popping.

Last December, I was 33 and I hadn't really skated much over the course of that year. I told myself, "In 2024, I will learn one new trick each month."

It's very doable. I got a lot going on a lot of the time, but I'm really not THAT busy.

I think I made it to like April or May haha. It wasn't for me - I'm a soul skater.

-I wanna learn 5-0s on round rails.
-Front tail 270 out
-Used to have back disasters but I took a hard slam on one a decade ago and been spooked since.
~There’s also this flat gap that’s maybe 10 feet long I wanna try to Ollie.
-Just skate more in general. It’s been difficult now that I’m a live in bf with a single mom but the kid is going full Weeb so I’ll have more time for my hobbies.

Re-learn a few things and push myself to skate things outside of my comfort zone, but don't get bummed that I don't feel comfortable doing the same shit I did at 25.

Switch tre
I haven't done one since 2013. I've been telling myself this is the year to relearn them for the past 4 years. I probably landed on about 100 of them this year without riding away from a single one. I've also broken multiple boards because I can't land on the board lightly on that trick. 2025 is my year

-Keep consistent with my current skate routine (2-3x a week, at least one sesh on the flatbar at the crib a week).
-Skate more street. Would be stoked to have enough clips to put together a little street part on top of my usual yearly park edit.
-Continue progressing my switch/nollie. Would be tight to finally flip my board in either of those stances.
-Bucket list stuff, but re-learning inverts and learning airs on legitimate transition are on the list. Realistically, I’d be happy to get close to one of those this year.

Skate at least once a week. Even if it's just a quick push around the block to say I skated that week. I've been so inconsistent with skating for years and I miss when it was a focal point of my life.
i love skateboarding all the time, but sometimes i wish i was one of those douchebags who hangs out with hot girls and parties every week

Resolution is to keep doing a legs workout two times a week, keep doing a core workout two times a week, and keep skating three times a week.
Have a small child so keeping the workouts and a few sessions a week is  good for this season of life
