Adults buying skate company branded merchandise are in need of an intervention.

I buy hats and hoodies from companies I want to support from my local because I know that’s how they make most of their money. I try to mix and match with non skate attire though because I do feel a bit weird with recognizable skate logos in more than one place at one time

Same here! I didn’t wear skate branded clothes when I was young because the money I got was money for new decks. As an adult I started buying the clothes I really like.

Nowadays, you can rip my XL Sci-Fi hoodie off my cold dead corpse.

I think it has something to do with going from left to right visually making more sense. This is because of reading from a page and playing Mario/Sonic etc. This is why being regular footed/right handed is aesthetically inferior.

i mean i’m down to wear a cool graphic or drop a little extra on some skate brand pants if i know the fit and materials are right, but i can’t imagine spending money on a shirt that just has a giant nike/adidas/cons/NB logo on it. makes me feel like a walking billboard

Yeah I don't really have anything from any of those brands, if I'm buying graphic skate clothes it's gonna be "core" brands.
Well, I'll pick up a pair of SB Dunks now and then if there's a colorway I like, but when it comes to shirts and hats I prefer to buy from skate only brands. I can't buy any skate brand pants because they all only go up to 32" inseam, my legs are too long for that and I'm not a highwater pants guy.

i just saw a Tyshawn clip on a youtube short of him doing a switch 360 flip lipslide to forwards at PRod's park and it flashed me back to blake carpenter's switch 360 flip tailslide to forwards last year or whenever that was. no doubt hard and well beyond me, but if you don't roll out switch they just look like weird body varial tricks. i'm surprised either of them would bother with such overtly unpleasant looking manoeuvres.
