Is “Thrasher: Skateboarder of the Year” fucking up the content output? Kinda hate out this time of year you only see stuff from retired / Indy film makers and you have to wait always til oct/ November for all the cool parts people have been working hard on (for like 2-3 years… which imo dampens the spirit of soty as well) and then you get guys sprinkling the footage throughout the year in this neat little package. It’s getting very predictable and feels like I am watching a fucking reality tv show almost at this point. So maybe the answer is just don’t pay attention to skate videos anymore…

Meanwhile in China, life has gotten way better, tons of sick marble plazas and shit. We just get more skate stoppers and diy torn down. Seems to me like life has only gotten better for those cats in the last 20-30 years.  If there was a “war”(I believe this term is too unpopular to use now so that’s why it doesn’t get used/causes too much civil unrest, we actually are already at “war”. It’s just going to be in the economic and cultural sense now), I’d bet money they are the winning team… but yes their government seems shitty too. I hear you, I genuinely support your freedom to go out into the world and explore living in different places.

At least china works on long term plans instead of doing a 180 every 4 to 8 years or going complete nuts depending on the maniac in charge, like the USA. What is this? bipolar country?
 
Yeah they have human rights and environmental problems in china. But I’m not gonna accept this arguments from any US citizen anymore, because you’re starting to have them too and have lost the moral high ground.

And there aren’t even any benefits coming from the American style of government for the actual people. other than some billionaires getting even richer and more powerful by making inhumane power abusing „deals“. Sacrificing the world for the benefit of six, maybe twelve dudes who already have enough money for a 1000 lifetimes. It’s physically impossible for them to spend all that money.   

But oh no, china is developing quicker than us. Building infrastructure, EV’s and solar panels too efficient and cheap, so evil of them.

Not saying am a full-blown fan of china, but I’d rather surrender myself to them than incompetent, snake oil selling Trump who actually didn’t accomplish anything in his life other than being good at manipulating others for his own good.

I agree with this one, but some parks are so shitty there's not even fun weird things to skate or good ground. I really hate the street league type skate parks, they just feel so stale.
