Anyone who thinks that a brand like Disorder or King are just “tax write offs” has no fucking clue what they’re talking about. If those companies operate at a loss, it means they won’t be taxed as much as an individual, but they lost more money on the business than they save in taxes owed. And they probably spent a significant amount of time working on the brand.

Sure, but you are effectively getting a huge discount on your investment. Effectively getting more for your money.

And it gives you a place to dump money that will potentially earn your more money, until it becomes profitable. Keeping your personal tax bill lower in the meantime.

Sell the profitable business once it's profitable and rinse, wash, repeat, do it all over again with another business.

There's a reason people with money operate like this.

Almost as if the system was designed to get people investing into various ventures, providing jobs and shit..

People who argue over trick names like switch nose manny instead of fakie manny, or 180 nosegrind instead of 180 switch 5-0, suski, or salad .

Should be more open to the motherfuckers who can actually do the trick.

For example i was confused on what i would call a switch flip switch nose manny fakie heelflip out.  Is it fake manny fakie heel out? Or switch nollie heel out?

I have made the conclusion it would be fakie heel out.

I havnt landed this trick yet but  P-Rod said in that nardwuar interview shit would be a fakie heelflip out.

So i found my answer and qas leaning toward fakie heel out anyway.

If you have done this trick is this what you would call it?

You don’t always have to stack all stances on the trick name. Switch flip nose manny heelflip out. Using 3 stances in the trick name isn’t really necessary. Unless you’re changing directions like Nollie 180 switch crook. I think it’s better to simplify trick names instead of adding adjectives to them. Nollie frontside 180 to switch backside crooked grind is too many words. Same with the manual trick you described. A lot of this is generational and regional. I even see a lot of pros say full Cab, many others including myself would just call it a Cab.

There have been so many instances where trick names were made redundant. I would assume a nosegrind/crook/slide flip out means it's off the nose lol there's no reason to tell me it's nollie. Same goes for fakie.

If you're going to set your metric at "who made the first heavy music", you've gotta go back at least to Deep Purple, Blue Cheer, even the Beatles with "Helter Skelter". It's not true that any one band "invented" heavy metal, but Black Sabbath do serve as the primary influence for the genre known as "heavy metal", so people logically start there.

It’s ok yo. I do agree that sabbath was the first band to have all the elements in one place. Especially with the down tuning.
I'm not seeing it. Nothing here really gives metal aside from some semi-aggressive vocals. This is just psychedelic rock. The first example you gave was even further away for me. If you hear metal, I won't say you're wrong, but I don't hear it.
