P-Rod used to have Ishod’s position in the industry as the guy who would dependably raise the bar, and he took the torch from Koston. I understand not being a fan of him at the moment but to downplay how good he was for the time is classic Slap historical revisionism.

Despite all of its corny bull shit, primitive is still cool to me because it is skater owned, they pay some of the best dudes in the biz, and they make sick videos.

Literally came here to post the above opinion and saw all of this prod slander.

Y'all are out of your fucking mind if you are trying to question that dudes abilities on the board.

Sure you can disagree with his religious takes or find his grindset behaviors annoying, but to act like he wasn't at the top for a LONG time (especially in the context of pro skating where careers aren't that long) is a straight up dummy move.

And on top of that, he STILL puts out footy that holds up and could probably place in most contests. Dude is an animal, in the conversation for best switch skater of all time.

Given that we know so much more about who they are outside of their respected positions it’s obvious why hip hop turned its back on Kanye and many skaters who’re aware of Prod’s real character don’t want to throw flowers at the little capitalist cigar smoker who hangs out with right wing podcasters and woman beaters.
