what other hobbies should/shouldn't skaters have?
I think my girl and I are going to get into day hiking, maybe camping. We've already bought a nice backpack, some small, lightweight folding camp chairs that you can carry on a hike, a couple knives, a portable stove/grill, a fuckin' monocular dude it's so rad and now we can look at animals or whatever from really far away.
I think I like buying the gadgets and stuff more than actually hiking.
My main side hobby right now would be D&D I guess.
The main thing I won't do as an additional hobby is anything that puts me in danger of injury.
If I'm gonna get injured, it's gonna be from skating.
I've seen some skaters camp, so that sounds like a pretty good hobby. Can't say the same for D&D tho, so I would cut that out.
No, but funny thing is, in a roundabout way I have
@Candied cigarettes to thank for all this interest in outdoor shit and camping.
It was this comment in Things You Are Not Stoked On back in May...
Outdoor boys YT channel is donezo. It doesn’t seem like that ben degros fakeout either. A tragic
I'd never heard of it, so I put one of his videos on. It was pretty entertaining so I watched a few more, then outdoor shit started clogging up my YouTube rec feed, so my girl and I just rolled with it and started watching a shitload of outdoors and bushcraft videos.
Then we were like, fuck man we should go out in the woods or something and we went and hiked a trail.
Loved it, started buying gear, planning on hitting a new trail every weekend.
