In 99% of cases this is the opinion of people who don't or can't skate pool coping very much. It feels and reacts completely differently to steel coping. From the way you get into grinds, holding them and especially going back in. It only really works on transition that goes pretty steep or properly vertical and so in that case you're right, there's not really a good reason to put pool coping on a 4 foot backyard mini. But anything made from concrete over 5-6 feet should have pool coping.

Entire part was nothing but cool tricks but the ender lives rent free.  If this is the direction skating takes then it will be in a good place.  Also had a cool slam before the make.  Made QS top 10 the week it dropped too.

Raphael Langslow going back 5+ years later for his ender in his new Hoddle part is cooler than Joslin tre flip

the legend of el toro is part of the incentive to go back and get the tre flip
but Raphael's street gap looks like the kind of spot that not many people would even look twice at, no one other than him would've cared if he never went back - but i think most of us can relate to getting fixated on some shitty spot, and that's what makes the kickflip cooler to me - the fact that it was landed half an hour before the premiere is just the cherry on top

i think nyjah is not cool anymore. today i woke up and he was uncool. i don't know what happened yesterday but i think he spent the last penny of his street credit. i know you guys love him and for you he is the goat but i'm sorry.

edit: he was cool for a while... i think he need a new part, must do something with el toro. at least he can smoke weed with t-funk on a b-roll of a baker vid.
