bodytechs make more and there's not one in every family like mechanics. Which means it's easier to get jobs.
However, the agonizing 2 years I'll have to go thru before being a journeyman is fucking hell. It's like you gotta
be the fastest there but get paid the least. They're always in your face saying some bullshit but not realising that
the journeyman is actually slower than me and I'm the one finnesing his sloppy work. It sucks cause the journeyman
gets paid commision so he'll slop it up and tell me to final it. Then the clueless foreman comes thru and cause he sees
filler he thinks there's not much for me to do to the car, but doesn't realize his journeyman is halfassing everything so he can
be paid more. I'm the one that suffers. I just told him to stay out in the body area so he can actually see the ins and outs
I'm dealing with before pointing fingers.
