Skated for the first time in over a week due to something I did to my knee two weekends ago. I had been able to walk again with no limp for a few days so I reckoned I'd be fine skating, but the pain and soreness started kicking in again after barely one hour and a half, two hours. Most flip and ledge tricks are still out of question, although they're still there when I want to do them I can't get my usual amplitude popping stuff because that has me extend the leg that hurts. Still enjoyed skating, it's just frustrating not being at 100% and having to do with lazy basics. And at least the new deck + new shoe combo I dared trying out worked out and ended up being functional, I like it. I usually avoid replacing decks and shoes at the exact same time like the plague, but I had been postponing doing both for too (unreasonably) long, to the point where I really needed to do it to skate today without fearing randomly rolling my ankle because of my former soggy, completely worn down stuff.

For real. But I always hate touching my set-up or changing shoes so I always make everything last till it's dead, every once in a blue moon it will just so happen that everything needs a replacement at the same time, I fucking hate it. Here I needed those two condoms because that slam I took was clearly due to my worn-down shit, so basically a STD I caught from doing my shit raw (or should I have used listerine?). Anyway skated again today, leg feels a little better, still no flip tricks, still a good day.

Skated for about 3 hours this morning which is great but felt really held back by being stiff and sore from a long day at work the day before

Found a cool bagel place in the city though

Not stoked that skateboarding is in the Olympics, but I am stoked that skateboarding will finally be publicly lamer than snowboarding at something 😂

That’s pretty awesome. Is there a go to breakfast bread in Australia?

Plain is always classic, cinnamon raisin if you like sweet and everything if you like savory/salty.

Bagels are essentially 3 or 4 pieces of bread so it’s sorta heavy if you plan to skate after.

If you’re the dude selling skate videos on eBay and won’t accept my offers I’m fucking both upset and happy because I really want them but I can’t afford them.

My weed dealer stopped by my place 5 minutes ago wearing slippers and a robe with his voice fucked.  He showed me how he got stabbed 7 times around his neck and lungs a couple of days ago, -"but you cant kill a bad habit"!

Dropped my phone in the toilet as I was flushing a sizable shit. It was in there for less than one second, has been cleaned, and is fully functional, but it was in the poo and I don't want it anymore.

Was it your poo or someone else’s?  IMO it would be worse if some random jerkoff didn’t flush and you just happened to be next in line and dropped your phone in it as opposed to dropping it in your own shit, which at least is...well...your own shit.

Either way that sucks though.

It was my own shit in my own toilet at home. I am in my late 30s, a healthy eater, and it was the first of the day so sizable is an appropriate descriptor. All that considered I still wish it wasn't on my phone.

do you guys ever buy things on amazon after your thing breaks, then send the broken one back and get the refund? i guess it only works if the thing can still be bought new and if your broken one doesn't have a lot of noticeable wear. ive pulled it before and it works fine. i don't know if that scam will work with a phone thats been in the toilet because they can check for water damage, but it might be worth a shot.

and nobody needs to come in with their morality. im not talking about ripping off small businesses. its amazon. they owe.

Not amazon but when we were teens we would buy a used ps2 game at game stop or eb games. Then exchange it at Walmart for a new copy saying the one we got wasn’t playing right.

Walmart employees don’t get paid enough to care.

The only time they hassled me, I was legitimately exchanging a PS3 I saved up for that didn’t work straight from the box. They kept trying to say the shipping code need to match the serial number which is dumb. The 20 something white gangster guy behind me stuck up and I got my shit exchanged.

They owe

Allen.

I landed the trick I was trying to film yesterday but got mega razor tail and harshly chipped the nose on my frog board that’s only a few weeks old.
Another plus is that it was the very last trick I wanted to film for a new video I’m putting out.

skated my first legit 7-stairs rail at 30 years old, it wasn't that hard to commit and I was feeling pretty good on it but it ended with a sprained knee
