Thanks Pals,
My friends hopped on the first flight and rented a car. I got my dog and 2 duffel bags of our shit. I had to leave everything else behind for now but I can live with that.
sorry you went through it. When it’s all said and done the relief of knowing you moved on will far outweigh the trouble you dealt with sticking around.

Stoked that I somehow stumbled upon this shithole months ago it definately helps pass the time at work. Also stoked that there is a ton of cool people on here that are very helpful. IRL it would be incredible to skate with most of you. Not stoked on it being over run by ignorant mf's lately. That shit is getting really old, really fast.

I stayed up all fucking night long. It was fun, but it’s been a while, I’m too old for that shit. I probably should take a nap.

What I do for partying  most of the night is avoid alcohol completely, do coke and toward the end of the night eat a pile of edibles and maybe go for a lil bike ride too.  Party but keep it healthy.  It's been a year and some since I've done any of that.  Gonna wait till I travel somewhere.

Thanks for the support from all of you PALS on here. I’m fortunate enough to have the friends I do. They were kind enough to give me my own furnished room and they let me take my dog too. Im hoping to scrape some money together soon and get a complete together before the summer ends. But atleast im finally starting to feel safe and happier.

I saw a semi normal looking person (looked like a beer garden patron) wearing what looked like a brand new menikmati tee shirt yesterday. It really confused the hell out of me

stoked on:
being able to pay my bills and order a few things.
my heel bruise healing
dog turning 7 yesterday
being able to get my dad a few things for his birthday, he turned 50.

not stoked on:
having to pay the lord of the land two months back rent.
my car leaking brake fluid and needing about $500 in repairs
full cab flips. i am very close to landing them but still no cigar

Stoked to get back into some Chuck Taylor's after getting away from vulc shoes for a few years. Even ordered some FP game changer insoles to help with the adjustment period.
Not stoked that I'm constantly checking my email/texts for an update on the delivery status, though.

My mri of my back and my nerve test both came back clean and no damage. But now it is most likely my toes that won’t let me stay standing.

was just informed by my employer that im a full time customer again. temporary lay off gone permanent.

i have been finding myself a lot lately and the edd kicked, im just going to have to resort to selling anything i can flip to get money in. i really doubt i will be able to find another job in the small area i live in because i have a shitty resume'

i really dug my job too, like i never hated going in to work. it was only ever two people, 4 tops. i sorted shit for the goodwill. i even got to skate in there when i would close the building up. i really need something similar because i can't function in a large environment.

If your resume is shitty because of mistakes you have made in the past, just be honest with any potential employer. If they see your honesty and still don't hire you, it probably is a good sign that they would of sucked to work for anyways. If it's shitty because you haven't worked enough to establish a good one, be honest and eager. Same theory applies, in my opinion. Good luck man, people with strong work ethic will always survive.

But on the plus side, you just achieved Pal status!

Why did you quit?

Well you know, just gotta make small sacrifices sometimes to achieve pal status...

In all seriousness, it was just too physically brutal. I was the last of three new hires to quit this month, which meant I basically gained all of their tasks on top of my already existing ones with zero help.

I just felt taken advantage of by terrible uncaring management. I honestly tried my best to hang in there, tried thinking positive despite being so fucking anxious and depressed, even started doing yoga daily to help avoid injuries and remedy soreness, but despite that I'd still come back home just beat up and defeated, especially my hands which recently started experiencing a pain I've never felt before. It hurts to even close my fingers at the moment.

I just couldn't handle it anymore, why struggle and harm myself putting all of my effort into work when I literally see other employees browsing their phones or chatting and then later those same employees plus my manager start giving me shit on how I couldn't keep up with numerous tasks on my own despite me actually doing a decent job solo.

I already applied to somewhere else, so fingers crossed I get a call back soon.

God damn that sucks, but good for you for getting out. I had a friend who worked for UPS for a few months who had similar experiences. His body got shredded every day and as soon as he was able to manage to barely keep up with their high demands, they gave more work and then faulted him for not trying hard enough.

i appreciate that man, i did get mainly hired for my last job due to my attitude and i guess its good to have something current and in good standing on the resume. it's just that i live in a very small town and there aren't a lot of jobs. i am also dealing with issues and trying to find a therapist who takes my medical so it makes everything more hard to get through.

i just don't know where i can go work now. too bad cocks aren't as nice to look at as vaginas or else i'd just start a onlyfans

sciatica sucks homes. Look into trigger point massage or learn about trigger points yourself. There's a trigger point at the Piriformus, which is located in the meat of your butt, that really helps release sciatic tension.
I feel it in my ass and in my foot and toes. I’ll look into the trigger point massages!

Starting to fit some skating into the work week which feels nice but it's cutting into my sleep schedule. I feel like skating tired often leads to injuries for me but it seems to be the only way I can fit in more than 1-2 sessions a week at the moment while working 40+ hours.
