Binging Kitchen Nightmares.

Fuck it is stupid and it is the same formula over and over again, but I can't get enough of it.

Quote from: ChuckRamone
I love when people bring up world hunger. It makes everything meaningless.
"That guy is double parked."
"Who cares? There are people starving to death! Besides, how does that affect you? Does it lessen the joy of parking?

- Got bread for new board and wheels but I got a go to Baltimore to get it [+ a lil madness returning]

- Getting my money up/life together but I feel like that makes me a target and lowers my send. Less time too

- Getting female attention but it feels impossible to truly get to know anyone. Sometimes idek know if I want that. I’m still kinda of a bum and worried being satisfied romantically would lower my send.

lol the earlier season and episodes are good like the famous episode with the Indian fusion restaurant in New York that had the roach infestation…later episodes all seem to just be formulaic tv.  All the other shows Gordon does all start to align…I’m a huge binge fan of Hell’s Kitchen seasons.  Highly recommend the Hell’s Kitchen season with dude who wanted to fight Gordon

I think I’ve binged almost all of Gordon’s shows, he has some weird ones, hotel hell, Gordon behind bars, Gordon Ramsay’s bank balance, he even has a show investigating shark fin soup. Kitchen nightmares is by far my favorite, sometimes it just hits me like all I wanna do tonight is watch Gordon Ramsey yell in an overheated walk in while throwing slimy chicken on the ground, another classic move is shoving his hand up in the grease trap and dumping it all over the place. “SHUT IT DOWN NOW!!”

Side hustle going strong at work but got a break bread with my coworker so he don’t snitch. He might anyway but it’s worth it for now

Ran into this girl that ghosted me. Seemed like she wanted me to be mad, or maybe she was cause I wasn’t on her line more. Pretty sure she cat called a guy right in front on me. He didn’t care. Why did I ever feel anything other than pity for this girl for her fucking up her chance to deal with a real nigga? [black confirmed. pics in post you skating]

Met another cute [and cool] girl. Idk why but I liked how she sobered up fast. Seems like a great trait to have. Anyway 92.84% sure it won’t go anywhere.

Had a very spiritual skating in the rain session. Reached many emotions from depression to gratitude. As a result pushing on some chopped bearings.

The school I work for is thriving & our kiddos do well but the intakes are pouring in & because the mother company keeps opening campuses our really strong & seasoned staff is getting pulled to sort out the “fires” happening & it puts a ton more on my plate & my colleagues. I love what I do & am beyond grateful to serve but it’s taxing when these higher ups just keep adding on.

some how dreamt up an entire skate vid. Sci Fi fantasy had put on a few new riders, for some reason Madars Apse was one (who I really don't even know anything about) and went on a trip to some city and skated some super dope spots.  Although for some reason they were all super into doing wallies into firecrackers down stairs.  it was a dope vid though and would've definitely rewatched it if it was real

ever since i broke my leg my parents been helping me around the house since i live alone. which i am very blessed for.
but having my parents over every day, them going through my stuff, commenting or questioning everything i own or do, its driving me insane!
the just barge into my house no warning whenever they feel like it. i have even less privacey then when i still lived at home.

whenever i just ask them if they can put something back where it came from (as i keep losing everything cause they put stuff different places), or just to not go through my private stuff where they dont need to, they get all high and mighty and go all like "oh you dont want us to help you then? why are you being so ungratefull?" ranting every time.

That sucks. I hope your leg heals up soon.

I ordered a limited edition guitar pedal that I really wanted from a Latvian company, but forgot about the tariffs. It’s getting shipped through DHL so there’s no way to avoid paying it. Also, it’s the most I ever spent on a pedal, so the tariff is going to be expensive even if it’s 10%. I should have ordered it from Third Man Hardware’s Reverb page, but now I’ll have to end up paying even more than that because I tried to save $30.

Stoked: Started skating again after a full year hiatus.

Not Stoked: after three sessions I got pain in my hip flexor that made it a bit painful to lift my leg.

Stoked Again:  it's almost fully healed up after a week, which means it was a very minor strain!  Back to trying to learn my    tricks back next week.

not stoked: took a pretty good spill yesterday on my way to the local street spot when my truck caught on the edge of the pavement. To the great amusement of a few pedestrians....

Stoked: I'm still nimble enough at 51 to roll out of it!

Was two hours late for work because I overslept. I still got two days on my work week and only one alarm clock, so I’m gonna go to bed a little paranoid that it’ll happen again tonight. Even though it’s super rare.

Felt so good after all the unexpected sleep though! And shout out to my homie for leaving work and pounding on my door til I woke up. Yeesh! Better to wake up mad at them at first than getting fired.

To whoever's giving me -2 rep everyday, I'm happy to apologize if i did something to offend you or irritate you. If you told me directly that might be more productive. Or if you think i suck for no reason at all i'd welcome some further insight on why i suck, or at least what i could do less of to avoid being an obnoxious presence, please.

I signed up for a ballet class with my wife who’s a lifelong dancer and has gotten back into it heavily over the last year. I can’t dance worth a shit, but I’m interested to see how my body handles stuff I’ve never tried before. That being said, I’m definitely swallowing my pride and ego going into this which is always challenging.

Just think of Dan Gesmer and go with the flow. Or maybe it's just like Blender riding a polarizer.

Also cracked by phone and fucked up my hand literally doing nothing. Not really stocked on that but less scared to crack my phone and fuck up my hand now

2.5 yr. old daughter broke her elbow when I foolishly stepped away from our shared bike to grab her helmet and kickstand fell.

Now 5 days later we walked past the bike in the garage and she said "daddy can we ride the bike?".  So pumped she wants to get back on it when she heals and so proud of my kid for being her.  Sad she has a lil cast  :'(

Being a snarky cunt. It feels nice in the moment, but it always leaves me feeling like I could have and should have been better than that.

Synchrony closed my Sweetwater account. I have never missed a payment but I’m using a huge chunk of my credit. My Musician’s Friend card is still active, but Synchrony might close that too by the time I get my next statement.

I have all the gear that I want, so the only downside is that I’m losing $5500 in credit. That will make my debt-to-credit ratio increase, which will decrease my credit score.

My 70+ year old neighbor Jeff already walked over and said "you trying to kill yourself?"
