Went to a new shop I've wanted to check out for awhile out of town. I had to kill time in between a doctors appointment so I drove by Infinity in St. Louis. Place was awesome, everything looked good, and I love the St. Losers video. The young person working behind the counter was cool, gave me some shop stickers when I said I was visiting from out of town. I was going to grab a deck to support business, but I've got a few I've been meaning to skate before I buy any more. I figured I'd grab a shop shirt if they had some in my size, and they did. Overall if I ever need anything while I'm in St. Louis I'll definitely go back. The place was 15/10

The only thing that bums me out is that I miss when buying a shop shirt was a relatively inexpensive way to show support. It was a comfort colors tee, and I know they're a little more pricey, but damn. I'm old and just miss the 2010's when prices were lower.

TLDR: INFLATION FUCKING SUCKS MAN. Go support small businesses though.

My wife and I got a new dog last week (lab/raccoon hunting hound mix) and are petsitting another dog for a few days. It is fun having a pup around again and I know our two dogs appreciate having some new buddies. The pup is still having a tough time sleeping - he barks in the middle of the night and has an erratic bathroom schedule right now. The petsitting dog is a significantly older boxer-mix who is very sweet but also horned up for our pup. Just a lot of weirdness and flux.

manager said it’s some upper ups coming in can I change into my small pants but they are too fucking small I feel like a piece of meat. I used to wear small pants no problem before I stared skating.I told him im a just leave he said stay till like 6. I wish I wasn’t so stupid and stubborn. He said he will pay me the hours a was suppose to work tho that’s a win. Now I just need to find a good medium pamt

Flipping this one, things I'm not stoked but stoked on. I drove all the way up to Sprouts to get their two-bite brownies. The place was closed. Went to some shitty super market and they had these amazing organic peanut butter cookies. Super stoked on these cookies.

Feel you on this. It’s not the same to roll into a shop and walk out with hardware instead of a shirt. That said, I’ve got a nice grip of shirts over the years and those get the most play out of the bunch.

I can sit more comfortably, drive again, walk up stairs, and pick things up. Still going to be a while before skating. Doctor cleared me for upper body workouts at the gym which has been keeping me sane.

I have awful flying anxiety but I’m flying out to a work-hosted charity event in a couple of weeks. Kind of dreading it but they are very excited to see me.

I finally tracked down this old Powell slipskins hat that my friend had growing up that I always wanted really bad. Took me close to thirty years to find one for sale. Shipping was high but I won it on the opening bid and it came from a seller in the UK. I got it fast. Took three days and I’ve been wearing it nonstop. Today I got a letter in the mail from UPS that I owe them $20 for tariffs on the hat. So the hat cost me about $90 in total after that dumb tariff shit.
Ah well I’m still happy with the hat and will wear the shit out of it but man fuck tariffs.

2 job orientations on Thursday one for a overnight job that’s everyday with shit pay, other one a valet job with like 20 people on the email but im already in with the company and its close. Also they expanding the team for ICE apparently? Wasnt the main reason but they was one of the reasons I quit my other job.

I swear I swore off overnight but I might can thug it for….. atleast a couple weeks? Waiting for my drug test results for this Amazon driver job. I might try to work some combination of two.

While tpying this Amazon job text me asking if I can start training tomorrow and Thursday from 7AM - 4PM. Conflicts with both other opportunities

Stoked to have opportunities but don’t know what to do. Right now thinking im a work this overnight and see what comes from the valet. Amazon could get a good check by just going to training, but is so far away.
