I just half size down. 9.5 has worked for me in all lrabs. I'd say take the 9 if you get them.

Those vm003's look sick @frontsideslappy

I went back to the suede cons and am enjoying them way more than the first time I tried em years back. I think the key was to go a full size down from what I wear in vans... flick feeling wonderful

Appreciate it! They're Levi's 469s, pretty much feel like big boy shorts but for half the cost.

Really nice chillers. Was on the fence but saw them  at the local shop and had to cop.

Don’t worry , I laced them up further. I just kinda chucked them on fresh out the box.

How big is the tongue? I saw one angle recently and it looked almost dunk level puffy. Never been interested in them until seeing your picture right now

From your pic, they look a bit tall/narrow in the heel area. I always had issues with rolling my ankles in the OG Cortez and Adidas Country (both only used as chillers).

I know you're planning using these as chillers, but in your opinion, Velcro Wallet, would that be the case with these if one were to skate them?

Found a pair of the Carhartt x cons on my trip to LA
And got some Lukodas second hand. Pretty hyped on both of them.

Agree. Would skate both. The fastbreaks look like a good dunk solution

I’d pay $100 for a dunk. Should dunks cost $100, no. It’s not the cost of them, it’s the rest of it: the games/raffles/etc. Have yet to find a great substitute.
Not sure how the Lukoda would skate. I had some reissue Lynx and they were decent, but I was tripping out looking down at them…maybe with the correct pants they’d be good, but I’m an old guy and it looked like a lot of doing too much.

I think people slept on Joslin 2 from etnies, which was a pretty solid dunk replacement.

Reynolds G6, KSL G6, Es Silo SC, Joslin 2, (to a lesser degree) Marana, cons Fastbreak, Proper Footwear Cinex/Rook, NB# 1010, Adidas Forum Low/Hi, and DC Penza/Maswell are/were all good Dunk alts

It just offended me that those cost I think 110 while other Fastbreaks are considerably less.

Not to put the dunk on a pedestal, but the fast breaks are not. Blew through the pair I had in like 4 sessions where I skated maybe 2 hours each. Im talking grip gone, both shoes had holes. They’re cool aesthetically though

+1 here on the fastbreak solution to the dunk issue lmao. I found both my pairs of fastbreaks to fit incredibly similar to dunks highs and AJ1s so in my eyes i see them as a great replacement. Also i’m not sure if you just got a bunk pair but on both of mine the soles lasted a good while (at least 1.5 months of consistent skating a pair). for the sides i just needed some shoe goo on the stitching and nylon to make em last but that’s literally an overnight fix. they’re really good shoes; shame converse doesn’t seem to consistently drop them as much as their other models

Only ever had a problem with one pair of fastbreaks , thoes black leather ones from a year or two ago were bunk. The toe was a completely different shape. I usually try to but the suede ones when I see them but they are getting hard to come by, which is where the DC’s come in, might try to skate them soon 🤷🏻‍♂️

These are what I’ve been skating for over a year. So good. They also last a lot.

Surely been asked before but the cons 70 aren’t from skate line right?
I wanted to try cons again but in canvas (+ shoe goo) and I’m debating between the 70 and the chuck mids.
