Grabbed a couple pairs of Emericas to try out
The Phocus feels a bit more sturdy than I imagined, the grippiness leaves something to be desired, that’s my only qualm. They feel like they will break in nicely

The KSL feels great, can’t wait to give these a rip tomorrow.

How does the Phocus fit compared to the KSL?

They fit just a little tighter, they are just a tad more narrow. Still TTS but a hair less wiggle room than the KSl, that might change once they break in, and I believe they need a bit of break in time.

Thanks for the reply.  I'm still looking to try a pair.  The g6 pour in is just so nice.

if you have superglue just put a light coating where any hole starts to wear and it should hold for the life of the shoe. worked for me.

Shop person was super stoked when they tried on their promo pair.   Said they were super comfy.    Usually against the brown/black combo, but damn they look good on foot

Not a Nike fan at all but the other day I saw a guy with those and they looked pretty nice. Top view looks good.

Almost done with another pair of KSLs. The lace panel separated from the lateral panel a while ago and only got worse as I kept skating. Best part? It doesn't affect the fit at all for me. I tie the shoes like normal every time I go skate and the fit is as expected.

Love when shoes have panels that separate from skating but don't actually change structural integrity after ripping. Usually you need to shoe goo immediately or super glue beforehand. Next pair I may super glue beforehand just to see how long that keeps it from ripping. Last pair did the same but not as bad.

Anyways, I can't say enough good things about this shoe and will be sorely bummed once it's no longer made!

quoting myself right now, had my first session in them and they feel amazing. im a blazer low and mid guy and these shoes are more comfy and have the same amount of boardfeel right out of the box.
the flick is amazing too, no problem on the first couple kickflips which i usually find pretty nasty on a new pair of shoes.
im really impressed, lets see how they hold up

Hey I'm waiting on my shipping right now for these beauts. How do they fit?  I ordered them a little small because I've heard they fit a 1/2 size small. Would you say they fit bigger than size, smaller, or just true to size?
thanks in advance, they look rad! Can't wait - I hope mine fit. ;D
