I think these will be a new favorite once I skate them.

these are the gt's right? how'd you get a pair already?

I believe that color is out in some stores already, mostly international ones.

The olive ones release later this month.

Considering to buy old skool pro syndicates, how are they? Will my socks be touching griptape from below as fast as from the classic models?

I picked up these SB's at Ross for 25 bucks, couldn't really argue with that price.
Anyone know what model they are though, can't find anything on em. The closest
resembling shoe I could find was the Bruin, except these don't say Nike on the back like the Bruin does.

Thank you sir, I'm thinking about getting me another pair.
They're extremely comfortable & they're the first pair of Nike's that
I've had that don't feel ridiculously stiff & ready to skate out of the box.
In Ross's case, out of the tag.

Does anyone know how the lunar janoski mid fit. I usually wear a size 9 but an 8.5 in the lunar one shot.

Old Skools that I got on sale for 25 bucks. With an offer like that I couldn't pass it up.
After skating countless pairs of Lunarlon Cons these feel like the thinnest shoes ever now. I got too used to the cushioning of the Lunarlon insoles. The Old Skools were all I skated for the longest time many years back, but they feel so thin to me now. Gonna take me a bit to get used to them again.

i had ordered some nice old skools too but had to sell them after only 2 or 3 weeks b/c of rubbing, discomfort, heel pain and the like. i think i just need to like let my balls finally drop and suffer a while to get those rough-n-tough man feet.

aint nothing tough about wearing uncomfortable shoes that hurt your feet. I've seen people insist on skating thin ass shoes & give them a million passes for each and every flaw about them & how they fit "because they skate so well" then wonder why they're only 30 with knee & back problems lol. All that little extra stress on your joints adds up over time and it WILL catch up to you eventually. It's better to just listen to your body and wear something more comfortable & supportive. You know how some of these SLAP niggas are with certain Vans models... "If you cut out this piece of material here, superglue all the stitching, microwave the soles, then modify this part right here so they don't give you blisters and make sure you don't skate anything higher than your normal ollie, they're the best shoes ever, hands-down".

A guy who came to Fight Club wore Vans for the first time, his ass was a wad of cookie dough. After a few weeks, he was carved out of wood.

Thanks to NB# for the weartest shoes. I think the two in the plastic are the Stratford's.

They also sent me the 2015 catalog. I can post some photos later, too.

How do the stratfords fit? I found them on sale in a half size down and I'm wondering if id be able to deal with it or if my feet would be crushed.I wear 9.5 in the prod 7's and a 10 in the koston 2's. I found the stratford's in 9.5

They run small, I asked for 9.5 in the shoes.

I normally wear a 9, felt tight when I wore them. Going half size up is ideal.

I like thin vulc shoes a lot of the time but I also adhere to the Quartersnacks(R) rule of low-impact skateboarding and I hear you on this, DaSk8D00D. However, I do take issue with you saying you can't wear your Nikes down fast enough. As much as I enjoy getting new shoes, I hope you understand that's a ridiculous thing to say.

EDIT - $2, and I think the people having problems with these a few pages back might be crazy

I started out skating launch ramps with Chuck Taylors. Didn't take long to realize that hurt. Skate-wise I switched to more padded shoes and never looked back. I did however keep wearing thinner shoes (Chucks, Sambas) when not skating and now at 38 I wish I had said 'fuck style' and worn puffy Seinfeld shoes all the time (or at least rotated in cushioned shoes more regularly).

When skating I do sometimes wish I had more boardfeel but if I wear something thin, even for flatground, I'm in pain after 15 minutes.

I'm not a fat ass, I'm reasonably healthy but there are some days when I can barely bend my knees. I know they aren't going to ever get better either.

Maybe you can do the Vulc thing without consequences if you weigh less than 140lbs?

Whenever my back/ankles/knees start acting up I swap to Lunar Gatos. Works everytime. Project BAs are a bit too thick for me.

(I'm guilty of the "but they skate so good!" thing with my new Bruins. They skate so fucking well but aren't ideal for my Hammer of Thor footslamming flatground shenanigans. They're still better than any Vans/Fallen/Generic Vulc co. shoe)

i had the same problem a few years back, i started exercising regularly and hitting the sauna. i rarely encounter the old aches and pains i used to go through these days after keeping up with the exercise.

Really great. Similar but better than the Herman and Koston 1.
