i like the hurache koston.

i also had those rowleys above and they're among my favorite colors of that shoe ever.  i have hardly ever seen it again in photos since i had it on my feet 10 years ago.

yup, one of the better new Nike models that look aesthetically nice.

Haven't seen the black/white pair in person, only the blue lagoon one.

They are easily the best SB in a while. As soon as I put them on, my first impression was the Etnies Arto in the best of ways. A flexier Accel with Nike tech. I couldn't ask for much more in a shoe. You guys should see em irl before judging. Trust me, I was worried I fucked up from the initial pictures.

Skated these today for the first time

Pro's;
Insanely light, as in they feel like slippers weight wise.
Grippy as any sb vulc sole.
Very flexible, instantly broken in.

Cons:
The thin insole does not stay in place, I constantly had to take my shoe off and reposition it.

This is the first shoe I've skated in years that I didn't need a fancy insole to absorb the shock.
If they address the insole slipping then I will get another pair.

How is the heel lock?
At first try on it feels like it doesn't but once there laced up and broken in a little it held my heel very well.

Thanks 144. I appreciate the feedback. I held them at my local and that soft heel scared me off a little bit. Was wondering if it would be a good thing or bad thing.

I skated them for about 5 hours today and never had my heel slip, and I don't lace my shoes up too tight.

Third pair of these badboys. Pretty addicted at this point.

I am skating those, along with the Black and White ones regularly. I saw the Fall 2015 line, and the Sutters are going to be great, along with the ones coming out in a week or so.

Any links for that?
[close]
I don't have the links. The owner of the skateshop showed me the line. A lot of basic blacks and neutral treys. Basic dark colors for the entire line.
Got these too. First pair of hugs and kinda like them. Have any of you guys tried removing the insole and adding something. Wondering if I should do that.

Did you get blisters on top by your toe? I got one after skating in them for one day. Only happened that one time since it probably stretched out.

I gave away the shoes today.

Nope, pretty stoked on how they skated sans the insole issue.

Wasn't really an insole really to begin with, felt like paper. Threw it right away when I got it.

Love the shade of blue.

and for not skating:

That's right.

EDIT- noticed my nike's are actually slightly different to the pair I posted, Mine have the blue on and in the collar area.
Perhaps not to everyone's tastes (see below) but they are comfortable and affordable. Unless of course the "ew" was in reference to the white DM's, which I could also totally understand. I love them both though!

I'm going to argue that Placebo owes their entire career to a Canadian dude's skate video part. Appleyard should be getting royalties for this shit.

SLAP mandate states that anyone that questions someone else's fit must post a fit of their own.

Not really a boot guy but those would look tough with an all-white outfit

That they do, as well as with a monochromatic outfit.

Also, if I knew what a "fit" was I would join that part of the conversation.

Got these today. Indy x Vans collab. Swapped out the white laces for some black ones.
I've skated countless pairs of Vans throughout my life but never had a pair of Chukka Lows. All my friends had nothing but good things to say about them. I'm looking forward to skating them whenever my current shoes wear out.
