I didnt understand that toe at all, instant deal breaker for me. It's not like a pointy toe (i'm a fan of those), its narrow all the way up, making your feet feel cramped!
I think almost all the Cons i've seen are like that...

narrowness reminds be of the mike mos, great shoe to skate but you just can't wear the fucker. also it's either a lot of shoes are narrow now or my foot is getting bigger.

ive never understood why people think the mike mos are narrow. theyre actually really wide in the forefoot area, and really thin in the middle.  i keep asking but i seriously dont understand how a human foot is supposed to fit in cons.

idk how people can skate pointy toe shoes, the roundish ones are better, and why is there stitching on the toe where it's going to blow out instantly anyway?

Only part I hated about these shoes when I skated them was that the side of my feet would get sore because they were narrow. But that would take a couple of hours before that happened. I loved these shoes, I wish I could find them around my area still

I thought that too, but then I just read that feet get wider and arches flatter as we get older. And since skating's a "young man's game," these shoes that fit the pros are mostly narrow (because they're all younger than me).

I've had to take to getting shoe trees to widen most of my shoes. Leave those suckers in a few days after spraying on suede softener or mink oil for leather. That's why I like my Globe Taurus shoes. Louie must have wide feet, because those things feel perfect from the start for me.

I have a buddy who skates shit to death and doesn't keep up with skating or any trends or even what's available.. He's had the same board for like 8 months, and it's a Stereo he got on amazon for like $20. He fucking hated those shoes and threw them away within a week, if that says anything.

Yes, and I'd advise you not to go anywhere near them unless:

a) your foot is mad skinny
b) you enjoy pain
c) they somehow miraculously turned them into an awesome shoe

Dragged out some stuff from the closet. Damn I miss Gravis

These are super rad. They have two layers, silver under black. The more they wear, the more silver shows. Never gonna skate them though.

oh true that, they had a pair at ross in my size and my foot could barley fit a foot in it, a size down of another shoe fits about the same to the vulcs.

Never skated Accels before, so I wanted to ask if the new Slims are any good? Also are they "bulky" in person?

So I've skated the NB# stratfords and liked them, but I was wanting to try more of their line. Can anyone give me some feedback on the Allston 617 or the Brighton 344 lows?

yeah compared to the OG accels the access slims are- well really slim. compared to some other (vulc) shoes on the market, they might seem bulky first. they would look weird if you rock some skinny pants to put it that way.

and yeah, the are any good- i like mine and skate them for over a month now. only thing to keep in mind is to superglue the stitching on the toe, then you are ready to go.

i think the quality in new e´s releases is pretty good so far, at least the models i skated. if you feel like the access slims are too bulky for you i can recommend the swift- thin, but not too thin capsule and lasted me a long time!

i back és being back!

Two entirely different shoes. The Allston is a cupsole (like the Stratford you're wearing) but IMO will fit you more snug heel to toe and all the way around than the Stratford. There is no negative space at all in the Allston. Heel lock is excellent. RevLite outsole. I'm a big fan of how the Allston fits, it's a great skate shoe.

The Brighton is a standard, low profile vulc. Really grippy sole and durable. Depending on what you're looking for you can't go wrong with either. There really is no bad shoe in the NB# lineup.

Haha.  Thankfully I don't spend a lot on much else other than hardgoods.  The Westgate's I got at Ross for $30 and skated them for 2 months. The Cole's I got from the DC outlet for $25.

I generally shoe goo the uppers on my shoes 3 or 4 times and skate them until I wear through to the midsole.

Hell yeah Steve! Looks like you got some great life out of those Westgates. Truthfully I wish I could skate one pair to that level. I have too many going in my rotation to commit to just one pair every day.  ;D

ditto, hella im still skating some accel tt's (pre comeback shoes) and they are holding up hella long so far, but off note i keep forgetting to order the accels to atlas though, and i just looked on the website and they don't have them  in a 13, damn.
also steve where is this dc outlet you found those coles for so cheap? $25 is a steal.
