Ooooooo  :o  Nice work Cosme!  Maybe I'll snag that poler color way and do that to them.  What do you use the lighter for?

thanks :D ... The lighter is for burning any stranded rest of thread that doesn't come out with tweezers. Always be careful cause heat changes the aspect of the suede. Also don't apply heat or any kind of liquid to the rests of glue from the swoosh. This was not the first time that I take them out and I finally found that the best way to leave the suede spotless is to brush it with one of those small-wire-suede-brush things (super cheap). I brushed the suede a couple of times in all directions, no ghost silhoutte leftovers - and it gives that vintage suede look.

Copped from Nike outlet for $20.00 pretty hyped on them. Not typically a huge swoosh guy but the two different colors and the wool helped a lot.

also got these for Christmas from my lady

Never had lunarlon shoes before and have to say they live up to the hype for sure!

I'll probably pick up a pair of those dylan. slip ons to skate.  I haven't skated vulcs in a long time but I'm a sucker for his shoes.  I also loved the vulc Gravis versions so hoping these will be similar.

Sorry if this is old news, but has anyone skated the Gillettes in a serious enough manner to give feedback? I don't plan on buying a pair (to skate or wear), I'm just curious.

The Gillettes are very good to skate in. I personally really liked the first ones HUF released, the all black leather ones, as they were durable and are surprisingly thin. They definitely fit very well, as in my experience with HUF, some of their shoes fit loosely around the collar area (namely the Sutters, but I love that shoe and became use to it). I would also note that the grip on the Gillettes are great.

Not enough support for me to skate in though.

Just noticed these NB# samples I got had different midsole colors, one is gray, the other is white.

Not a big deal. Looks like great skate shoe to end the year on.

Can't say enough good things about this shoe. Pretty much perfect. The only thing would be the top eyelet being metal leads to a lot of torn laces.

I'm about to break out my third pair as well! What you said about the eyelet is true, my laces get destroyed there and it's been a pain finding long enough replacements.

Yes.  Still remember the sessions straight out the box, minimal break-in for a thick ass cupsole which is pretty amazing.  Lasts so long if you use shoe goo.  Went through about 4 or 5 pairs until they got tougher to find.

Lame how it looks like they are going to vulc only (or vulc for 90% of the colorways for this model).

havent skated em more than an hour yet, so really not much to add to the ripped laces review:  http://www.rippedlaces.com/2015/12/adidas-matchcourt-mid-review/

I put in the lil better insole from the lucas adv

still believe this shoe could be much more amazing if Adidas built it from the Lucas Pro...

imagine...
1. a mid cupsole, with
2. sprint skin
hardly art, hardly starving

The Figgy's have been the fist cupsole shoes I've skated in years and am on my second pair and i love them. The only thing that i dont like is how super narrow it is. I have to constantly bend the shoe to give it that worn in feel so it doesn't hurt the side of my foot. Been thinking about the Reynolds for some time now and it seems like you can only buy them online so you i wouldn't know how they feel until they arrive. They do look really thick but have heard multiple people say it still has good board-feel, would i feel a substantial difference going from say the Figgy's to the Reynolds?

That shoe is great. Holds up damn well too. Had 2 pairs last me around a year. Suede took forever to rip and the soles held up a while.

They are the P-Rod 9 Elite.

The CS ones (non-elite) are $90.

Waiting to find those for the low-low so I can get and try out.

My Nike outlet never seems to get SBs. Like never ever.

How cushioned are the P. Rod 9s?

$40 at the Nike Outlet. I'm in Canada but I always ask staff if they have any sb's in the back and they usually come thru with something good.

How cushioned are the P. Rod 9s?

Cushioned to the max, has a fat zoom air insole in the heel. Which I take out for FP gamechangers.

I don't skate big stuff or stairs, flat and ledges. Does ok with me.

The Trainerendor is supposed to be a chiller shoe. I have no idea about the fit but I'm pretty sure the sole is just foam so they will be super slippy but some colorways are suede so how long they last depends on which colorway you get.

after my GT blazers are done (good shoe was holding up more than 4 months), i'm skating these right now after walking them around over the last two years. surprisingly they still skate good. i'm curious how well they will hold up, given that the sole suffered already quite a bit. got them for 25 bucks so i wouldnt be mad if they tear up quick

I actually prefer the cupsole. I mainly got the vulcs to chill / walk around in, but after all the cupsoles are done ill most likely give them go
