Skated these NB# samples for about 2 weeks, skates great and lots of boardfeel.

I think I am done skating them, on to the next cupsole. Maybe a dunk low (or IW dunk)or a 533.

the sole on these is thinner than the standard nb cup correct?

Those look so great to skate in. NB is doing things right.

They are great, are for sometime for 2016. Wouldn't mind a retail pair.

A cuspole!  :)

Yeah, thin compared to other cupsoles, say like a eS accel!

Really flexible too.

I don't mean to offend but those are not good looking shoes. They look like what a cartoon hobo would wear.

It's kind of offensive for NB to put out shitty skate shoes since they can obviously make a good shoe without much fuss. The whole skate program sometimes seems like a cynical "whatever, just throw together some spare pieces in China, those kids tear em up anyway" type operation.

How do you guys like the Romero Laced and the Emerica Figeuroa?
I have the Romero laced and I like the sole, they suede feels great and has amazing grip, but they fit so poorly on my feet. The length is fine, but there's so much dead space on the sides of my feet. Really quality shoes, wish they fit better. I'd skate the shit out of em but they've only had like two or three sessions. Also the insole is atrocious.

Got two new pairs

Curious about the Prod 9.

Busenitz I'm familiar with. It's my 8th pair or so.

Saw those adidas on the adidas shop at the mall. What a beautiful pair of shoes. I've been skating my pair (white/gum) for a long time now, havent skated as much as i want but damn great shoes indeed!

Never got the Buzenitz hype. Are you guys narrow in the midsole? I like the look of them but they didn't last long, had little cushioning and felt unstable to me... I still have the og black and gold colour ways collecting dust.

Those P-Rods are too narrow too. His first shoe was his best.

I hear you on the "dead space" feeling. Try the Figgy's, it has all best parts of the Romero but fits a lot closer to your foot. After I skated a few pairs I found myself tying my laces extra tight on other shoes to get the same feel the Figgy's had.

Hey, the figgy would work as a legit slip on correct? I need a slip on, looking at the pro Vans, but would rather get the emerica's if they'd work.

Come on.

I can confirm that's the exact opposite of what they're doing... After the move from blackbox they moved numeric into their best factories to ensure the quality was up to par with what it should be from NB

Yep, I always go half a size down, because I like my shoes extra tight and they work great, no laces needed. Plus it's technically a cupsole so I imagine it would be more supportive than vans.

Skating the Romeros now. I honestly hate the way that these shoes look but they skate really really well.

I believe they are actually on the wider side for them.  I will be able to let you know vs the Hsu in a few but for now I just have the romero and the wino hi and the romero fits my med width foot great.  The Wino is too snug and I'm hoping it will give some if I wear it a few more times.  If you have a narrower foot, it looks like people think the Romero is too wide, but it's perfect for this guy

I dug these out of the closet after almost two years, I wish they were around longer. Such an underrated, comfortable shoe. Also, I wish I would have bought the black pair instead, but these are tight too, ha.

Agree with the dead space comment on the Romero Laced. I love the way the shoe looks but functionally didn't work for me. A lot of weird spots of negative space in the upper. I also couldn't skate them more than 2 times, the sole was so minimal they killed my feet.
