thanks for the advice on the NBs guys! i ordered some and also some ADV superstars, will post when i get em. those converse look insane! if they didnt hurt my feet i would only skate ctas pros. thats why im trying some new shit out.

Mine came out today only to find out they arent my size. I ordered a 8uk as always and found out that it's 8,5 US and not a 9. They crush my feet so i will try to sell them (send them back is too expensive). They look so much better in person. I'm fucking bummed.
damn thats a bummer, if it was their mistake i would see if they can refund you for shipping, but if it was a mistake on your part i hope you can atleast get some cash for em.

No, it was my fault. I thought the 8uk in NB# is a 9 but in fact is a 8,5. Not like nikes or most other shoes. I should have seen the size chart but it didnt even remembered, i always order the 8uk! But today i'm selling them for 30% more so at least i'm making some cash on'em!  ;)

copped all three today, got the Logan and ADV from Skate Warehouse for $55 and $50 respectively and got the NB 1600 at the local NB store on sale for $70 (i chose these over the straight norte colorway). i wore the Logan a little bit today and they remind me a little of what the Lunar Gato felt like when i tried it on. decent heel cushion but pretty solid on the front of the foot. feels like it will be good for board feel but maybe not so much for impact. i skate very low impact so im not too worried about it. probably gonna try to skate those first.

i got these bad boys for my recent trip to california...like four days of skating and i've completely destroyed the side of flicking shoe. people on here said these rubberized canvas ones were supposed to last forever!! granted they still skated amazing but damn i shredded these things to pieces.

Could you upload of your ripped shoes? I'm curious about it

five layers of canvas too...

that's fucking pathetic.

i'll never understand why people buy canvas shoes to actually skate in (unless they're vegan)

They just feel nice and are all breathable, especially in the summer. However, I don't understand why people keep buying canvas shoes, skate them and then are all surprised that they rip quickly. Lucky for you, I have done over 950 seconds of research and came up with this plan below which works wonders:

Follow this list for an easier skateboarding lifestyle

1. Buy canvas shoes
2. Go outside, do your go-to tricks for 10-15 minutes
3. Superglue the areas that show signs of tear (Shoe goo might be better but its also uglier so..)

Now go skateboard, you little rebel you

Thanks.

For those unfamiliar with vegan culture (at least on the internet), a lot people say to give away your leather stuff and buy vegan shoes and clothes and shit.
The vegan community has always irked me, even in my 3 years thus far as a vegan, and this probably takes the cake. Cotton is really gnarly on the environment, which makes the earth less habitable for all animals, including ourselves. It makes a lot more sense to just wear through your stuff and then buy animal products used as they are more durable and have already been produced.

I think it's just justifying people's desire to buy more shit they don't need. Some fuck shit as per usual.

Anyway, can anyone suggest a cupsole that's a bit wider for ya boy? I have a pair of SB Dunks but they're too narrow and slide off my foot whenever I push (why the fuck is the ankle liner so slippy?) My knees are telling me to quit it with the vans and converse.

They look good art, but I'd just as soon save the trouble and leave it, I don't think it looks that egregious

Was honestly contemplating doing the same thing. I like the two color swooshes for the most part, but all black looks even better

EDIT: to the dudes above me. Also motivated to remove them because the swooshes are made of wool and leave fuzzy wool balls all over your grip and shoes.

all of this.  this is my second pair of the lost art ones... and the swooshes get extra shredded on em.  plus, like the look of the plain jane all black and coloring/painting wool swooshes wouldve taken more effort than slashin off em with a razor blade

Project BA's were honestly such a good shoe. I totally understand why they cut them and why people weren't buying but for me they were perfect and I'm generally not even a tech shoe kinda guy. I run a lot and also skate every day so after my long runs, those were the best shoe for sore legs.

I'm skating a pair right now for the first time. I love them. Great board feel, nice shape, and overall a really nice shoe.

I loved my pair, the only gripe I had was they didn't feel that grippy. Everything else about them was awesome- and I'm surprised it never became a big thing in the hype beast community. It's a great looking shoe.

all i've skated in the last two years are these! they work really really really well for me. the only gripe i have is the ollie area for me gets a hole reallllly quick - but i just put a layer of suede inside with shoe goo and it holds up well.

currently skating in one pair and chilling in the r/r ones;

then got these two as back ups, as well as another new pair of the grey/blue ones;

I think im pretty good on shoes for the next year and a half

Sorry for the huge photo.
Cons Star Players, the chevron star on the side was baby blue, so I decided to color them in with a black sharpie.
They feel so weird, I've been skating a beat up pair of OG Chucks for the past two months and got too used to them, so these feel like D3s in comparison. I stopped at my local park for a quick sesh, skated for maybe twenty minutes and I was having a hard time getting used to a more cushiony shoe again. The lunarlon sole makes it hard for me to feel anything. I got too used to having too much boardfeel.
