yeah i wanted the mids but i was a few months too late on em. i got the dunks but they run kinda small so i've been skating the accels mostly, i like stuff in all black colorways, so i was going to try the marana next for the toe cap, and even this dirty word, i might even get a pair of osiris since they have a shoe i like that isn't that bad looking, also what vans are those brown ones you posted? those look sweet.

Fairlane, but those are old. like 2008-09

heyyyy, i like your style boss, my rotation is es accels, dunk low pros, and reynolds low, next would probably be the etnies marana if i can find them cheap enough
[close]

yeah, skated a bunch of dunks, used to have them all the time before reynolds mids came out. tried marana too but did not skate them for long.

Nice collection!

What was the issue with the maranas? Im loving them, but I dont have the ogs, I got a bunch of pairs of the willow model and they skate awesome and are comfy as fuck.

Too early yet to tell how long theyll last though.

i love how people are like "well, yeah, the kostons are 150.- but yeah they might be worth it because the last maybe a little longer than other shoes" and in the next sentence go "what, lakais/hufs for 80.-? ARE THOSE GUYS CRAZY?"

he got em for free, what else is he gonna say, yeah sure they're fine and last a while haha.
150 for a shoe i'm gonna destroy in a few months? never.

Herc - not sure I follow your post. I haven't seen anyone try to justify the price of the Koston 3. I just told Art Hellman earlier today that I lucked out with a trade. I've been skating them for about a week and I still prefer the K1 and K2. In a vacuum the Koston 3 is a nice skate shoe, but no chance in hell I'd pay full retail for it.

And to your second point I am a HUGE fan and backer of Lakai shoes, but nothing in their line warrants an $80 price tag. Sorry.

Goddamn, I'm so fucking jealous. You've got a great taste in skate shoes. Btw where you get your baggy pants? It's a struggle for me to even find easy fit nowadays.

yeah, its super hard. when i find pants that are sick i will be 2-3 of them

bought 3 of https://shop.ccs.com/lrg-rc-c47-denim-pants-raw-black
and sized up one size, instead of 34 i went 36. baggy and nice

found some nice baggy carhartt pants too, dont think they make those now though....

Yeah that is an issue now that you mention it. I wear baggy too but I get cargos cheap and the bottoms get ripped to shit regardless.

Has anybody skated the converse breakpoint? I found em cheap online and they look really good. Also any thoughts on Hsu G6? Or any shoe recommendations that are better that are not just a standard Vulc?

For real, I have gotten a few pairs from the local thrift store, and the fit is perfect, not real slim, not overly baggy. The cloth is just the right thickness as well.

been looking into getting into the break points aswell, but since converse has fucked up sizing i never pulled the trigger. just don't wanna get them in wrong size, then send them back bla bla.

on the hsu i gotta say they look and feel incredible. my shop got them and i tried them on. great snug fit if you get em true to size. the inner shoe construction feels really great and i guess helps keep the shoes shape for a long time and the toe on the shoe looks promising for good flick. quality seems top notch too.
the sole is vulc but not really vulc...like more of a hybrid construction similar to the waffle cup vans is doing from what it seems.

hope this helps!

I'm really interested by the Hsu G6, if the sole holds up well, it could be a good alternative to Blazers

Ordered the break points yesterday, since there was like a $25 difference. I'll let you know how they skate. Were you seeing them on that ambush board co website? They're like $52 free shipping. Only downside is they don't have a lunarlon insole stock.

I got the Hsu's, and maybe I need it broken down for me, but what makes it a "G6?" I had the Hermans and Westgates, they were G6 super supportive cups. This Hsu is a lightweight, REAALLY thin vulc. The insole is garbage too and it's glued down.

Just the heel is, give it a firm slow pull from around the edges and it will come out.   But yes all of the emerica insoles currently are garbage ( well the 3 different pairs I have right now anyway.

I honestly have only worn them once so I unfortunately can't give any feedback on that.  I started skating my Busenitz again and am not sure I'll go back to anything else in the near future.

Skated them for the first time today, took a bit to get used to ankle feel and fit. But after skating them, they are awesome.

Flicks great and grips the board so good. A damn shame they're $150, but I feel for that price, the shoe will be worth it. Durability is there, will take a damn long time to wear out the grip and sole.

Has anyone skated the non-SB Nike All Court 2s? I saw these white leather ones on sale at the Nike Outlet but I didn't pull the trigger:

I have skated non-SB all court 2's. They skate more or less the same as the SB ones. The only difference is with the leather ones (which I own but haven't skated) the insole is leather versus the usual zoom/foam sockliner

I have a pair. They fit like the old ones, true to size, plenty of room. Just be warned, these things are straight up potatoes now. Like I wear baggier pants, but not like the 90s/early2k, and I don't think I can pull them off anymore. Might save them for summer and rock them with shorts.
