not really

they were pretty snug at first, so they broke in rather quickly

For me, after two weeks it felt stiff. The hyperfeel was great, couldn't be the sole. Same sole as Koston 3 and those skate great.

I feel the bruin has that thick layering around the toe area. Could not get used to it.

The hyperfeel bruins suck because they don't have the lunarlon insole with zoom-air unit that the K3 does.

Currently skating these, sharpied the pink swoosh black. Really great shoe.

You like your Kostons? Both pairs I've skated felt so slippery and awkward. And the lace holes don't go back far enough

Yeah so far they have been great, I've been skating them for about three weeks and still grippy. They are starting to stretch a little though but nothing major.

Price tag aside, the Nike K3 is really one of the best skate shoes that has recently released.

Does anyone else think that Nike has been setting the trends for pricing. Forget about Circa in the early 2000s, Nike came out with the Koston 1 at $80/90 and most skate shoes are now around that price.

It's a blessing and a curse. Most of the ones in boxes I bought just to put up and then look at in 10 years. others will be sold very shortly, to make room for future purchases

Moe - you want to get hyped on skating in Telfords watch an older Jimmy Lannon clip! That's why I bought those in the first place. I just never got around to skating them. Glad you are digging them. That XLK sole is so good.

I have always been hyped on the Telfords, it was mostly Welsh that started the fire. Wish I got my hands on the Newport color he did.

experementied with some dunks at 4:00am, taking off the swooshtm was simple enough with a box cutter thingy cutting the stitching, but getting it all out is a pain in the ass, and after being done with it theres still holes from the stitching so there's a phantom swoosh now, and i did a ghetto spray paint job also, the next time i do this it should look a lot better

thanks - im going to do mine now. the fact that theres no glue is a relief. my swoosh is reflective so a phanthom swoosh is going to look better no matter what.

currently removing the swooshes. it went from the worst looking dunk to the best looking one. its super easy.
the "phantom swoosh" as they say is probably gonna disappear as the shoe gets dirty. it did with my cks atleast. also whoever said hightops wont protect your ankle from sprain must be crazy, when i tie them as hard as i can its pretty hard to roll your ankle.

dont be fooled, the picture isnt that big its just my shoe size.

just open it in a new tab

Anyone have the canvas adidas Matchcourts? I want to try the mids but all I can find are the canvas ones, and I'm concerned about the fact that they are canvas. Don't want to buy shoes and have them full of holes within a couple of days.

I've been waiting to find dirt cheap lunar one shots or these to have as chillers. I have heard a lot of god things about the support.
