had 2 pairs of the gatos, good shoe and fits true to size. they hurt my feet on the ball of my foot (forefoot), also one pair rubbed my heel away

I like them a lot. I have had a couple pairs before. These are .5 size up from what I normally wear because they were a good price and seem to be getting pretty rare. Nothing I can't fix with a FP insole. Can't wait to skate them next weekend. The toe box is good it's really rounded and wide which I like

Been buying these slips from Kohl's or Famous Footwear, infinitely X's better than the regular Vans slip-on with the extra material on the toe & a little bit more cushioning around the ankle.

I swapped out the insoles in my Classic His for the ones in my Choices, gotta say it feels so much better and the boardfeel is way better as well. I liked the thick heel in the stock insole of my His but it always felt just a little weird

In a few days when they come in. Scored these on eBay. I skated so many pairs of these between 06 and 07. One of my all time favorite shoes. Want to see if they still hold up all this time later. Kind of a consolation prize for not being able to find any Lynx 2 in my size anywhere.

They're one of the best shoes I've ever skated. Sizing wise true to size, I've only ever had a handful of Nikes in my life SB or otherwise and I've always found them quite narrow as I have wide feet and while snug they stretch out easy and didn't become sloppy. For a cup sole with the lunuron midsole they have surprisingly good board feel, nothing like a vulc but good, they take a while to bald but even when they do they're still grippy. Great toe box shape and flick but I'd suggest dropping some super glue on the detail stitching on the toe before skating in them. Fuck Nike blah blah blah but these were some of the best and I keep digging out an old pair for a session and I still have a fresh pair in the box for one day on the future.

I went a full size down on my one stars, but the toe on the one stars is pointier than the toe on the CTAS so you may want to consider going only .5 down because then your toes will be more comfortable.

Honestly they are just another vulc model, it's pretty predictable how they will skate, all I can say is that I found the suede to be more durable than your average shoe and that it comes with the lunarlon so it's comfy and has good impact support (for a vulc).

They were called the Era. The Rowley XL2, DVS Milan, these, and the more recent Adidas SLR are all favorites of mine. Something about that style.

When in doubt, always choose Lakai... Flaco skate great but laces rip pretty fast

Do you find the sole to be slippery? on my pair they were really slippy, and I want blazers again, but not if they still haven't changed the sole to make it more grippy.
