Just put these on hold and made my own mediocre review

I'm sure I posted this already, but it got lost somehow. I'll admit that I'm not as concerned about animal cruelty as I should be, but it's great to see good, sturdy vegan shoes in the market. I hope I find these shoes in the market someday.

Right now, I'm wearing flip flops. Soon to don my dumb little Converse shoes to go skate again and make the most of this dull saturday.

nice review notjeff. I'd honestly be down to try a pair of these but I've never seen them in the wild and/or in a store ...
perhaps it's a living in asia thang?
Thank you. As for not seeing them it's honestly because they are so small, they have picked up Mike V and Richie Jackson but, they haven't picked up much sadly.
Also, those Etnies look good

suede vision street wear
This is after 4 pretty heavy sessions. I'm surprised they've held up so well.
Better than HUF classics

My only complaint is that the insoles suck, I couldn't change them because the shoe runs snug and none of my other ones would not fit. They were 20$ on walmart.com but I've seen them go for around 17. Not bad.

Those Vision Street Wear shoes in red were my first skate shoes and I'd love to get another pair. I see them occasionally but they're always in jacked colours.

I haven't skated a cup in awhile so it was a little weird skating these at first. I now think these will be my go-to shoe from now on.

When I skated the 3 pairs I had, for the first couple of hours, they felt stiff. Even after microwaving them.

But after the breaking in period, all good from there. I just don't like the mesh heel area, I get why it's there. Still.. Should be suede.

Well, after a couple sessions in having a strange relationship with this shoe. They feel awesome in some aspects and awful in others. The fit is nice, they are snug but nice. The shape of the toe and the flick is perfect. They grip is decent, not glue like but not bad. But now it comes the bad part. They are like fuckin' ovens! My feet feels like it will melt in them, and the worst part is the inner plastic thing in the heel. It's so hard that with the hotness and rubbing it formed a mad ass blister in my heel. The skin came of and and its been like two weeks and its not 100 healed yet, even with band-aids, healing cream and stuff... That never happened with any shoe i've had. I cant have a decent session because this hurts like a bitch...

Damn, that sucks dude. I've been wearing mine around lately and they feel really good, haven't really noticed them being really hot or anything, haven't really noticed the plastic thing in the heel either. Maybe our feet are just different, perhaps different insoles could change the way they fit and solve that issue for you? I'm planning on skating mine soon, how does the tread last? It looks really deep. Cushion/support?

I had some project BA's before, they are really good in the cushion/support, and the ventilation is good on them too. Those just have some little holes that i'm pretty sure that arent even all the way through the upper. The hot air just cant escape... althrough the cushion/support on those is good too, better than average. I actually changed the insoles for some nike ones that have a arch insert and they fit even better. The thread is deep but burning a little faster than the BA's one... I'm debating into doing some holes in them so the air actually escapes.

I've been watching Ethan Fowlers part in Tincan Folklore a lot recently. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing some cherry red Nikes, so these were the  next most logical Tincan influenced choice. Got them for only thirty bucks too brand new.

I haven't fucked with Vans in a while since their quality dropped; I had a bunch of pairs in a row where they just felt flimsy and cheap right off the bat and the sole would wear out super fast and come unglued. They were all I ever used to skate too but I had to stop buying them for a couple of years because of the quality issues. I decided to say fuck it and got these because of the reasons I mentioned earlier in this post, and so far they feel like they upped their quality again; they feel just like how they did before the quality drop they had. I had a quick bowl sesh with them at the local park last night and they skated great, they didn't feel cheap or flimsy at all. I guess the real test is when I hit the streets, so I guess we'll see for sure soon. Hopefully I didn't speak too soon hah.

My wife has a pair of Stan Smith's. They're big with Asian American mom fashion bloggers right now. I like the way they look but the leather? seems really soft and thin, I don't think it would hold up very well.

They are the number one shoe on set for photo shoots. Every studio that I work in everyone is wearing stan smiths and a palace shirt.

They lasted me exactly 2 sessions. And I'm old and can not skate for shit anymore ;-)

But I am a sucker for fresh white cloud kickers, regardless of the brand. Nice choice Art.

Beautiful indeed.

I had a pair of white/gum pros last summer. On one hand they were horrible and just lovely on the other.

Bought these Vans x Pass~Port old skools yesterday. For some reason they didn't come with the pin set, which bummed me out :'(. But they're nice shoes and Pass~Port is a cool company so whatever
EDIT: Sorry for the gigantic photo! Anyone know how I can change/prevent this from happening again?
