I was really hyped on how clean they were for a $34 eBay purchase. Whoever had them clearly had no idea

Skating them now,  grip and insole are a little weak but it is a good show otherwise. Very comfy and if the leather is the same as they used to use it might last a while but It's been a long time since I've skated leather shoes.

Thoughts after first 2 hour session: super low in all aspects but feel solid. A bit on the wide side for my foot but not too bad, fits quite nicely. Board feel good, grip ok. Ollie hole as usual but that's how it works for me. Stoked when looking at my feet down for sure.

I'm terrified to skate my pair, as I do more heelflip's than kickflips.  Shoe feels super solid/flat friendly, but the mesh side panel has me convinced I should just keep them as chillers.

Keep them as chillers, for sure.
I was about to buy them until I had them on my hand, and doing more heelflips than kickflips I decided not too. I may change my mind if they make an all suede or leather/suede version for the winter,

I'm also a heelflipper but I never have this problem. Maybe the wear and tear is different for different people cause I can't get a heelflip hole, no matter how many I do. Of course the shoe is gonna rip a bit it's only cosmetic. And the actual heel part is rubber in this one.

Yeah, I'm all for trying skating in them if they do an all suede sidewall.  The parts that wear out most on my shoes typically are the "knuckle" of pinky toe and the collar near the front (topside) of the ball of my ankle.

HUF Dylans in black suede.

Been wearing these for work for a while now. The suede is so damn soft that it feels like I'm wearing clouds. So damn pleasant.

These are next up on my "to skate list" for my shoes, but I dunno. I might just wear these for work and skate something else. Got Gillettes from the same black suede and they're damn pleasant too. More stylish but less padding than the Dylans though. Overall not a huge fan of the Dylan design, but it does look smart. Much prefer the Gillettes for that. Not the biggest fan on how the black suede looks either. Too velvety kinda. Still, the shoes look alright and feel like heaven. I do wonder how this soft and pleasant suede would hold up to skating.

Also notice the smooth flat we have here in Finland. ;)

black ball hi's aren't bad. needed a hot glue treatment to save the socks, and a couple of rips in the laces but nothing out of the ordinary. overall holding up way better than i could have imagined. i put footprint kingfoam's in them and they feel like clouds. just like a sk8 hi. if you can find them for $20 i'd say give them a shot. really liking them now that they're a little beat up. probably would skate them again if i could find another colorway of these that i'm psyched on.

Anyone skated the Rowley Solo's? How do they compare to the regular era pro's?

They are the same mold as the older Era Pros, and thats about it. Insole is definitely shittier. They are okay I guess, I'd still take a pair of the older Era Pros over the Solos.

Don't buy solos. They're a downgrade to era pros, and I couldn't use the insole for more than 5 minutes before my feet started hurting. The only way I would skate them again is if I got them for free.

They were a weird grey speckled colorway, didn't dig it so some flat black was applied.

Gave this a try on some canvas sided old skool pros, turned an army green colour to a weird grey, doesnt look too bad

went a half size up. about two and a half weeks in, best shoes I've skated in a long time. broke in quickly, flexible without getting floppy, super durable outsole, generously padded upper, nice quality suede, and skate well to boot. no complaints here

NB is doing things right, but has anyone skated the 344? Do they have the PU insole that the Stratfords have?

Anyone know of good shops to order Westgate runners and/or CCs from?  Preferably not in black.  Emerica is cutting back on releasing them it seems so I want to stock up.

All fresh out of that model, only got some PJ 533's left. Hopefully get more 598's in the future, they are definitely durable. Even skating sample pairs.

First pair of nikes. I still feel conflicted on the big brands, though i do own a pair of booze's. Got em on sale at Humidity in NO. I like em so far, though the toe area does feel a little cramped and stiff.
